When you do that to a hatch only about 300 hp or so will get you in the 10's. Add anymore and this thing would run 9's easily. Plus its not all about hp, weight, gearing, and torque all come into play when drag racing. Am i a honda fan no not at all, but when you get a gutted thing like this, you better get ready for a damn good race.

I really doubt it would be wise to push higher than 500hp in a lightweight FWD car lol. It's just down to the two factors of weight and power. Light weight car with 300hp tends to out accelerate a car with the same power but more weight.

With a sleeved block (the only reason a LS or 4.6 would need this is if it was punched out quite a bit over stock bore), cams, heads, intake and the suspension to support it would turn out to be alot higher than 400HP. So the factor you are laying out there is still uneven. But I get what you are saying. Kudos bros.
