the TRUTH is there was NO budget passed LAST YEAR with democrat super majority. the TRUTH is the fiscal year starts in October when they STILL had the super majority prior to the election. Well when you have programs that need money and we aren't paying the amount of taxes to keep it going then they have to get creative. What I mean by creative is stealing from Peter to give to Paul. We have done it for years and years. Giving tax breaks to businesses that can give a crap about us. They only care about money. This is not a Dem. or Rep. problem this is a system problem.

@OMIEntertainment I've read Paul Ryan's budget. I've got it saved to my desk top, it's only 73 pages long. Piece of cake and makes PERFECT sense. And it's NOTHING like you'll hear people saying... no one is gonna have to eat cat food. The only reason things will continue to get worse is if we ignore it and allow the population to say "not me!" I'm willing to give up "entitlements" because I don't feel that I'm "ENTITLED" to anything except for what I earn on my own.

The majority of what was spent in the Bush Era & since then has actually been compounding interest from what was spent earlier so its hard to tell whose really at fault. It's so easy for both Republicans and Democrats to spend other people's money. And 33 billion or 40 billion? Are you kidding? We borrow 3.5 billion a day or $1,277,000,000 a year. So you cut out a couple weeks of debt. Big deal. We are fat and greedy and a couple billion here and there will solve nothing.
A fair budget would have an equal amount in revenue as the amount being cut. That's where the budget woes should start. I say give the Republicans/Tea Party what they want. Then, when it's time to vote next year, we can get rid of all the Dems and Repub/Tea Party and fix what has been done. He never promised to end the Afghanistan war. And in fact, he strongly implied during the campaign that he would increase the resources provided to that war. Which he has done.

The Rethugs shut down the government during the Clinton Administration. There have been 17 shutdowns in about 40 years. This is one of their tactics of bullying and intimidation.

What you people don't seem to realize that if the government shuts down our military members do not get paid but they still have to work! Obama is trying to let congress know this. He has made earnest attempts to bridge the Gaps between Both Parties for a Reasonable and Sensible Resolve for the working class, small business owners and for elderly.

The majority of what was spent in the Bush Era & since then has actually been compounding interest from what was spent earlier so its hard to tell whose really at fault. A fair budget would have an equal amount in revenue as the amount being cut. That's where the budget woes should start. I say give the Republicans/Tea Party what they want. He never promised to end the Afghanistan war. And in fact, he strongly implied during the campaign that he would increase the resources provided to that war. Which he has done.
