Thank you so much! I have a daughter who is half hispanic and half black. I have tried so hard to get her hair staright. Its very curly and the only ones who can get it staright are the professionals, but who has the money to keep getting a 7 year olds hair done? Not me so I was looking fo rtips on how to do it nyself, and your video was very helpful. I will definitely invest in the oil and another flat iron. Thank you so much it has been very helpful.
@lizsknoxify I hope all goes well! Professionals often charge too much! Just start off with the least amount of heat possible for her, I am sure youll find a technique that works. Thanks for watching :)
yeah you're hair has too much oil in it..when i was younger, i use to put too much castor oil in it and it looked just like yours...i use to use a lot to make sure it wouldnt come out puffy and so it would last longer but just like another user said, just use a heat protetant..i use biosilk hair serum now..or just use a glosser but biosilk works the best on our type of hair...and wth kind of blow drier did you have? that looks like that work break your hair off more struggling with it.
@AniAzurlove I need to get typing "corrected" majorly?? As you haven proven, typos naturally happen..if you mean me not capitalizing the beginning of sentences and using "..." to separate different statements, then you're just a little dense to not be able to comprehend what I said...because otherwise, my comment is fully comprehendable..Common sense tells you that whole comment is not suppose to be a run on sentence..lastly, let's not speak for everyone just because YOU dont understand..thanks
Oh, no! I know that this vid is more than a year old, but just in case you didn't read this, never do a final rinse with hot/warm water; that opens the cuticle and makes hair appear rough and becomes more prone to breakage.
Rinse with the coldest water you can stand to 'seal' the cuticle. This locks in moisture, lays down the cuticle , and reflects light better (for a natural luster/shine).
I'm not an expert--I just love healthy hair and know how to get it for myself:-)
I get mine from Whole Foods that are free of synthetic ingredients. Also, I have been using Monistat on my hair for that past month (I know-it's weird), but I noticed that my hair may have grown and it is a lot thicker already.
oh my gawsh i liuv ur hair how did u get it so freaking long my hair is only to my like bottom of my neck and ive been growing it for like a year so how did u make it grow
your hair is really pretty but it seems like the oil is weighing your hair down way too much. all you have to do i put some heat protectant (tresemme, motions etc) in your hair before flat ironing and your hair will come out free and light (:
Thanks, but it doesnt, I use to use a hair wax, THAT was heavy.Other things i try leave my hair frizzy.. After years of exprimenting, as long as you dont put a lot of stuff in your hair (oil, or heat protectant) its fine. Also motions makes my hair sticky, heavy, and it feels weird when i touch it. I love usinh oil, its great for everything, and my hair blows in the wind like nothing! I think its the lighting making it look heavy my hair is also very thick. But thanks and thanks for watching
Thanks! I do use a comb sometimes, but it doesnt help much, so I forget the hassle. I use oil because it is light (unlike hair "grease"/conditioner and wax) Thanks for watching

do you experience any breakage with all the heat from the flat iron?
merlene88 2 years ago
Not really, you have to use the right setting/temperature for your hair, and dont flat iron it everyday.
