It's not a clutch dude that was an e-brake or parking brake. That car had an automatic gearbox. Nothing wrong there. You can see how that pedal is not leveled same as with brake pedal
Having owned a 1999 M5. They only came with a manual gearbox the pedal on the left is a clutch and the hand brake is behind the gear selector. The biggest automatic in this model of 5 series was 540i. It is a european car not US (the only comparion with a camaro is they both have 4 wheels) we have handbrakes with the exception from a few mercs.
lol the position and size of the "extra pedal" in question is the e-brake lol god ppl are dumb.....if it was the clutch it would be the same size as the brake and placed proportionately to the left, not slightly forward to the side and also smaller in size....no opening for argument here ppl if u respond to this to disagree u are just making yourself look really stupid unless ur blind....cant hold that against anyone
wrong wrong wrong wrong I was born with the wrong sign In the wrong house With the wrong ascendancy I took the wrong road That led to the wrong tendencies I was in the wrong place at the wrong time For the wrong reason and the wrong rhyme On the wrong day of the wrong week I used the wrong method with the wrong technique
Yeah ... that's not a clutch pedal. Heavy cars of the era had a secondary brake. My dad's Camaro had four pedals - from right to left: gas, brake, clutch, secondary brake. Also, the brake pedal is larger in automatics than in manuals - that is clearly an automatic brake pedal. Had it been a clutch, it would have been the same size and mounted right next to the brake. But it isn't; it's smaller, quite far to the left, and mounted further up so as not to be depressed accidentally. Not a clutch.

That's not a clutch, it's a parking brake. When he stick-shift in this video he's using the manual mode on the automatic gearbox, this car does NOT have a clutchpedal.
A Good Reason to ware a seatbelt & use a cup holder. They should make one with an American car such as a Cadilack Sedan Devile or a Chevy Malibu Classic of course and just maybe if they are willing to use one a modified Hummer.
actually you couldn't be more wrong. There's clearly a clutch pedal because of the stick shift. Plus, you can see him pull the HAND brake at least twice in the film. Good job asswhipe.
The film they are talking about is not the one shown here. This is the M5 with a manual transmission. In the Film Ambush they are using a BMW 7-series with a semi-automatic transmission. And the pedal that you see in that film (Ambush) is not a clutch pedal, it's the pedal for the "hand break". It's moved to the floor on the very left hand side.
@sunnyjason That's an M5, the pedal is not the parking brake! it's the clutch pedal, its a manual transmission, you can see it in minute 5:00 waiting for the green light when he is moving the shifter to neutral like in every manual car, also you can see the little gear numbers, and also it has parking handbrake

if you payed attention to the beginning of the video, you would have known what I was talking about. here, let me refresh your memory
"last week we mentioned an error...in ambush"
Ambush with the 745i? i wouldn't be dumb enough to think there's no clutch in a stick shift. :) good job topspeed.
