  • slow jet fighter. just good design ..

  • 6L, that is.

  • Flying rwy 6R. That's different, cool.

  • I think with this plane you have to rewrite the book on ACM

  • Incredible machine!!!! I'm glad it's ours!!!!

  • a 808 is the grand stand worth it?or anyone that has been in there.and is it better to be at the bottom or top of the seats thanks

  • Thats your car in 1000 years.

  • F-22 now in Hawaii... How Awesome is that!!!

  • now thats how you record an airshov! great vid.!

  • I met an F-15 Pilot at my Det and he knows "Max". He says Max is a cocky s.o.b. lol!! He also said no real fighter pilot would become a Thunderbird.

  • 808rt a dude I got a question or questions that is semi important cuz I want to invite my family to an airshow and is march arb a good one like I heard it's hard to see the planes in the air? Or should I wait till miramar because I want to show them a real good one for their first time

  • This is as far as manned-aircraft will go.

  • I just got back from the 2009 show and i was sad that it wasnt there....

  • could not agree more.. I would hope top or see it again.. the F-16 was great.. but it was like we top a step back 30 years

  • amazing this aircraft takes away the meaning pulling up too fast after takeoff

  • our NJROTC unit was sitting in the middle of the bleachers alot of us were cowboys lol waving at the F22 more then the blue angels haha KING HIGH NJROTC!!!

  • FUCK MIRAMAR MCAS EL TORO LIVES ON!!!

  • pshh.. just hating

  • i was there, and it was amazing....it looked like it was drifting in the air..

  • He burned a lot of fuel. Looks like the afterburner was on for most of the show. Awesome maneuverability for this aircraft. What a blessing it is to have this one in the fleet. Not that an air to air conflict will ever occur again, but, with the air to ground technology, I feel safe, proud and happy

  • "Not that an air to air conflict will ever occur again".

Shanelee - Don't be so sure my friend! Everytime engineers (and some pilots) have said that, air to air combat rears its ugly head. "They" said that missiles are the answer so the F-4 Phantom was built without a gun. A deadly mistake! Now we are in the age of stealth with the F-22, F-35, and the comming PAK-FA fighter. Guess what happens when these stealthy fighters are looking for eachother on the battlefield. Dogfight!...

  • watched this show from my back yard in mira mesa

  • The Pictures you took are AMAZING they are so detailed!! Great Shots!

  • Thanks!

  • Omg, i cant wait till i get to fly one of these one day =]

i want to become a jet pilot. F-22 specially =]

i need help on stuff like these.. =]

i want to be expose to pilots like these....

anybody wants to help me out or give me any tips.

  • There are a lot of sources for people wanting to become jet pilots. Their will be very few f-22's made so if you try to get in one you will probably be competing with ten thousand plus people. .

  • RafaSkittle,There are a lot of great pilot jobs but it can also be stressful and uncomfortable.(imagine when the blacktop on the airport is 140 degrees fahrenheit and you have to preflight and get the plane ready, then you get bounced around a lot in hot air and feel sick (especially if you have a small plane) and then if you are flying for hours there is no bathroom break. That said, there is a tremendous feel of accomplishment, dignity and self-realization with getting your license.

  • Paul moga is my friend, i got to get close up with the f-22 twice, i even have the second time on this site! i also know next years demo pilot, also a friend, who is at this time the f-16 viper west demo pilot

  • What's his name? Viper west gave an awesome demo at SF's fleet week last week. Love the double immelman.

  • cant wait for the nellis air show in november

  • i was there for that one. sunday right. anyways most amazing jet i have ever seen in my life. beautiful. and the music is good when you are there, but doesnt fit in to the video

  • Whoever determined that load music should be played during a flight demo should be shot in the fucking leg.

  • i mean loud.

  • My iPod was useless during the demos.

  • dude it's not like you can hear the music over the jet...

  • they place speakers along the fenced line because its the same music the pilot is listening too. Nothing we can do to mute the music out unless the Airshow itself decides to do it, because there are speaker stands everywhere through out the crowds.

awesome shots though loved the weapons open one

  • More great stuff Rich. It must have been nice to be so close to the ocean for once and get all that nice vapor that we don't see so often in the desert.

  • Thanks man! I love airshows near the beach! Lots of vapor!

  • this was probably the coolest thing at that show besides the blue angles

  • RPM4YEARS

You're kidding ... the "Blue Angles" were there?

I think you meant the "Blue Angels" ;)

  • oops my bad hahahahaha sorry

  • i was their when the f-22 was flying on this day.

  • When can i film this great Fighterjet, jesus.

That's why i use the viewfinder,to minimize the shaking, you can push the camera a little bit more against your head what reduce my shaking, great demo and filming,it's really damn hard to film hours and hours and stay focused, the speed,it's a hell of a job you've done,At Sanicole i was tired too of the driving, but we get better every day m8.

  • I dont have a viewfinder which makes it more difficult. I used to do that with my old vids.

  • yep but i have ordered just another sony cam with viewfinder and a miljon pixels,i don't take the risk to film without it,im not such a good filmer.

  • ? Your videos are great, not even shaky. What camera did you get?

  • Its a DCR-DVD310E i must get it in 2 weeks from now,i can't wait to get to the base again. We must work-out to get better cameramen:)burning muscles?

  • I was there saturday, too. I stood all the way to the right from show center where the performers would taxi out from. I got some great still photos, even though the sun was in front of us, and with all the cloudy sky. The best part of the whole show to me was when the raptor dropped out flat from that loop, and went right through that cloud; it was absolutely amazing. If that doesn't make the hair stand on your arms, I don't know what does. Great demo!

  • A little shaky dude but that Raptor is frakking awesome! Thank god it's ours! Not even the PAK-FA will be able to match this!...

  • Yeah, all my recent Miramar shots are shaky. I was just so tired from the drive over there.
