  • how do i tell what model my enfield is? please repsond

  • @bulldogrj5020 look on the left side of your receiver the markings should be there. or on the metal band at the top of the butt stock.

  • Ys vry nic!

  • i love these rifles. i hope to move to the U.K. when i finish college

  • why? this country is nothing but a liberal surveillance police state immigrant full anti white shithole

  • HAHAHA AWESOME, btw i know nothing of the laws of owning a rifle in the UK could you give me an insight into them?

  • Very, very strict rules.

  • Where is this range?

  • You can handle the recoil of the Enfield well.

    Nice tutorial & film.

    Greets from Holland,

  • hello mate. im from portsmouth hampshire uk and have just got a rifle, im wondering if you know where i could shoot it?? thanks

  • sent you a pm mate so check it out

  • Very little muzzle jump on that! I saw a used Lee Enfield just yesterday at a gun shop.

  • im American i love my 303 works perfect i think you might want to check if your spring is tired on your magazine when loading the last round i had a problem sorta like that but fixed it got the mag straightened out and new mags work perfect

  • my first thought was the mag... 9/10 times its the mag.

  • if that don't work it might be the breach??? just a thought?

  • I beleive it is the mag lips.

  • LOL BRITS, CANT HAVE UR GUNZ NO MOAR!

  • you spelt "your" , "Guns" and "More" wrong. 3 out out of 8 words wrong, well done.

  • your rifle is beautiful. it really looks great

  • thanks :D, and yeah i looks like yours has been sprterized :-(. Its where they change the rifle to sell it as a sporting rifle or hunting rifle. Kills the history of it.

  • can you buy these brand new? im trying to buy a Lee Enfield but all i can find are ones from WWI or WWII

  • yes there are still some that have not been fired befroe but I don't know where to find them. Perhaps search for lee enfields fresh from storage. hwever the n04 mk2 was made after the war so if you ask for that model you can't lose

  • what is the average price for .303 in the UK, just trying to decide weather to apply for 7.62 or .303 on my FAC.

  • there isnt an average there is simply a price to a quality, if you want high quality it can be £450-550, if you want shit it can be £80

  • i meant ammo price lol

  • oh well I havent bought factory ammo for a while but last time I checked it was between £30-£60 a hundred. Reloading is the way forward.

  • that enfield looks brand new

  • hay with respect to your question mine does the same thing. i think it is due to a bad mag spring or the knoches that hold the round are bent wrong.

  • Best bolt action ever made if you ask me, I've got two No.4 MK1's myself, love 'em to bits. Awesome video dude!

  • I've got an No4 Mk1 as well but I do prefer the Mauser's action a bit more.

  • Good choice dude, I'm saving up to get a good 98K, I'm hoping to get one by summers end

  • great shootin mate and great video

  • do dey still those rifles?

  • what? speak english mate becuase your not making much sense to me.

  • sry bout dat dude.....

i mean do they still make dis rifle nowdays

  • yes they still make THis rifle nowERdays in India, Austalia and a couple other places for police and recreational use.

  • nice rifle

  • That hazel wood is beautiful!

  • Its beech I think, I'm not great at knowing much about woods.

  • Oh well. lol it's still a beautiful rifle.

  • Class shooting bud wish more people showed the results of there range time, got my Lee for 500 euros but the wood was a bit rough so sanded and tru oiled her. absolutely love shooting it by far the best buy i ever made...

  • best rifle in the world so far as im concerned, its got character something M16's and alot of other guns don't have.

  • how much that rifle? i saw a no4 mark 1 sporting rifle in gun mart for £50

  • £500 but it is in mint condition and the barrel is practically brand new.

  • nice, gunna get one when im 17

  • I can name a very good gun shop for enfields if you want.

  • ok then sure do they have a website?

  • Sounds good where?

  • gun shop outside of coventry its the largest blackpowder provider in the UK

  • hey im looking for a enfiled whats the name of the shop? oh by the way would a scope block the way for a stripper clip?

  • no an orignal scope with the proper rail for it would not. will tell you when I get the website.

  • that is a nice weppon 5 stars.this rifel has alot of knockwown power .looks like fun.

  • nice vid, go with the K98

    5 Stars

  • 5 stars

  • The mauser is the way to go!

  • 5 stars

  • K98 is the way to go

  • 5 stars

    Get the K98

  • Always with the negative ways! You know you have already decided to get the K-98! Hell, you already own an Enfield! Damn, boy! Get your ass over here in the states and we wont be talking about a bolt action, we'll be talkin about my HK-91 or getting an HK-416. NOW that's a weapon!!

Now quit stalling and get the K-98!

BTW, I noticed that glazfag is into cockpie. What kinda cum drunk sissy boy is he??

  • HK-416 is a god,I would love to have one with a 20 inch barrel, red dot sights, 6.8mm, 30 round magazines and in full auto.

  • The k-98 is your best choice. It is much easier to work the bolt in combat situations, therefore easier to come back on target.

    5X5 and in my favs

  • I've found the Lee Enfield to be the easiest to use in every condition.

  • I would go with the K98. It's a much harder hitting round.

  • hmm who could this be lol, anyway the mk7 round acts the same as a dum dum bullet and makes up for not hitting as hard as the 8mm

  • Comparing the 303 and 8mm is like comparing 2 semi trucks. 'knockdown' varies with bullet weight, barrel length, velocity among other things. All of the old battle rifle cartridges (.303, .30-06, 8x57, 7.62x54R) all hit very hard and there is really no point in arguing which one hits harder because is comes down only a couple of hundred ft-lbs of energy (and they all deliver well over 2000 ft-lbs of energy) And that all depends on which bullet is used, barrel length, velocity, etc.

  • nice gun!

  • yeah seriously shut the fuck up like u know him u dumb ass fucking cunt bag piece of shit with no life at all . At least he doesnt dildo himself fucking glazlad bitch .

  • Downrated for gun worship!

  • yep, need you to give it a rating please

  • This is a 5 star video for sure. Anybody that loves the Lee-Enfield like Jubbles does and shoots it so proudly and pretty darn accurate for the first time firing it deserves nothing less than a 5.

Hey, I picked up that No.1 Mk3 today. It needs a little cleaning up but it is a very nice rifle.

  • u posted this commet 4 hrs ago, like at 5 o clock in the morning how sad is that, u truely r a loser!!!!

  • The problem with the last round is with the magazine. The spring seems to be a pushing the last round up too high. You can try adjusting the mag by using a pair of needle nose pliers. It seems the crimp is not correct on the mag. Expermint with an empthy round until is is correct. Or try another mag. This will fix your problem.

BTW Very nice looking Enfield. Better than mine.

  • which part of the magazine is the crimp? I have no idea :-P, is it the magazine lips your talking about?

  • Yeah, that's it. I will make a video and post a video response to show you what you need to do to solve the problem. I have had this problem before and just a quick little bend will fix it.

  • One more thing jubbles, I promise I will never sporterize or alter another Enfield. I think they deserve the respect of the great rifle they were and still are today.

  • that is reasuring

  • Very nice looking Enfield jubbles. In the US a box of 20 .303 180 grain rounded soft nose is about $25 US. Or a trip to the local Army-Navy store will get 32 FMJ Pakistani made rounds for $10. The boxes are dated from the mid 1960s and you have a lot of hang fires or they just won't fire at all. The Pakistanis tended to down-load their ammo because of the poorer grade of steel they used to make their Enfields. I have read reports it is not safe to fire a Paki made Enfield with modern ammo.

  • the pakistani stuff was origanally made in the UK but given pakistani markings so no one would know we were supplying it to them. If you love your enfield you will only use the best!

  • hey nice vid how much is like a box of 20 .303?

  • About £6

  • wow i thought all the ammo in the UK was like pound a piece

  • wow i thought all the ammo in the UK was like pound a piece

  • How much do you have to pay for ammo?

  • I pay £30 for a 100 rounds of match grade ammo.

  • Nice rifle,Good shooting I hate that when they mess up but its also fun to fix your own problem don't you think gives you something to do with a gun besides cleaning and shooting.Love guns you should get an ak47 one gun every serious gun enthusiast needs I reckon.

  • It would have to be a single shot straight pull, so it would effectively ruin the gun so I don't think I will get an AK-47 when im in the UK

  • o yeah i forgot.you should move to the states.

  • UGHH u know jubbles thats really annoying you have to fix your little problem i just was saying how i got a .22 rifle and its gonna be a while for the next gun show o well when it comes i will be ready to buy up a storm .

And as soon as u get your rifle u put a vid up

  • of course I will put a vid up, I'm going to a nice big range soon so I'l make a vid of that. ANyway make a vid of your walther or you new .22

  • kk i will i tried to with my walther once but it woulndt work . talk to you soon .

  • Which ever little shit keeps on giving thumbs down for everyones comments on this video just fuck off and get a life.

  • yeah looks good man, make sure u breathe between shots though if you're not already :)

Did you get my comment about the Photography series i'm doing? I'd really like you to be part of it.

  • no sorry man I didnt get your message. Tell me about it, just e-mail me at the t.sim07 e-mail address which is shown on my youtube page.

  • Nice shooting jubbles. Have you tried a new magazine to solve the problem with the last round? It sounds like to me that something is bent on your magazine. You may try bending the upper clip fingers and eject the rounds by hand until you find the spot where the last round stays in place.

I enjoy your videos. From the US and of course in Texas I can step into my back yard and fire any time I want.

  • Am getting a ne magazine and then bending the lips of the old one to see if I can get it to work. Your one lucky bastard.

  • In Britain is it hard to find places that sell ammunition and Guns, do you have to order online or by mail?

  • You have to be part of a club to own arifle, so its easy to find places that sell ammo/rifle becuase people tell each other and advertise at the clubs

  • 10 shot gun right?

  • yep two 5 round stripper clips, and your ready to go, the record number of shots fired in a minute is 33 rounds at a 200yd target.

  • yep thats right and it can be 11 if you put one in the chamber then load the magazine.

  • hey i got your messages and i hope you got my message to the animal fucking activist's well talk to you later .

  • got your message "i think" cant check my inbox becuase of a proxy server, but I might go home on saturday so I can check from there.

Was in a very bad mood last night lol

  • hahaha i could tell were those people like messaging you or something lol.

  • Must be cool knowing that you're holding the rifle that kicked butt all over the British Empire.

  • Thank you and yes it did, this rifle mowed down all enemies of the empire from the Zulu's in Africa to the Asians in India.

  • Great Shooting! Thanks for sending me this brill vid mate. But the Lee Enfield was not the one used against the Zulu Tribes that was the Martini Henry, which is single shot still but it does not sport a bolt. It takes the form of a Browning Repeater. But thanks again for sending me the vid its great!

  • ahh well after that there was the lee metford, then the Enfield but still its the "Lee" series and it worked for our empire. WHen are ou going to make a vid of your firearms.

  • Lee Enfield is SWEET, mate! I congrat you for having one!

  • thanks it is an awsome rifle, you should get one ASAP!

  • As soon as I get to Germany, mate. In Brazil you can't own rifles of any kind (except Winchester-like ones up to .38 Special) :(

PS: Quite a good shooter, aren't you?

  • Yes thanks im quite good, (I actually have shaky hands but they go still when I hold a beer or a gun weird I know) Its a pity your gun laws suck but germany's are bad aswell from what I know.

  • But there you can have at least something more than the spiffy .380 Auto... About shaky hands, it depends on the focus, and yours is good [alcohol negates shaky hands, guess you know why :)]

  • hi great vid id love to shoot one but unfortunatly all my guns are deactivated as i live in england and they are clamping down even on old spec deacts shame. but hopefully soon i will join my local gun club and maybe shoot one of these beasts.

  • Mate I live in the UK aswell!!! You can own one of these rifles if you have a firearms license!!!!! look at the other weapons I have shot if you don't beleive me.

  • Best rifle ever!

  • Damn straight it is.

  • oh and shame on you for never firing one of these saints of death, this gun will be remembered for ever so make sure you shoot a .303 Lee Enfield as soon as possible.

  • Thanks it set me back £500/$1000 and its been worth every penny. Am gona buy a new magazine for when I use i but keep the origanal for storage as all the parts have the same reg. number.

  • I agree with Russian Comrade. Great video! The Lee Enfield is a beautiful rifle

  • thank you very much I am going to make a few more vids when I go to Bisley.

  • Awesome video - the Lee Enfield is one of my favorite rifles = )

  • Thanks a lot mate, do you do own any rifles? Im going to be making a few more vids in a couple of weeks so make sure you check them out.

  • Yeah I own a Mosin Nagant sniper rifle and 2 other mosin nagant 91/30's,and yeah i'll check out your future videos = )

  • Cheers, tell your mates about my current vids, and hell make a few of you own with your mosin nagants. I considered getting one for a while but im getting the Dragunov instead.

  • yeah i will, and yeah the Dragunov is awesome id get one too if i were you = )

  • Here's a little hint. Get a bag or small sand bags of some sort. Brace your gun on that, and you'll see a difference in you hits..

Do they have any longer ranges there? I won't even shoot my .44 mags if it's less than 50yrs..

A gun like that should be at least 200yrds..

Check out my video, and you can see what kind of guns I'm working with..

  • Yeah I know the range sucks but I've since refused to fire the Enfield at this range and am waiting till I got to Bisley (massive range) before I fire it again.

  • Actually some states have laws that don't allow you to carry a firearm. Its called Commiefornia. Obtaining an Assault Rifle (aka, full auto) isn't to hard, a visit to your local sherrifs office for laws, paperwork and a $200 deposite will get you halfway there.

-Cycle that bolt from the shoulder! If done right, your eyes should never leave the line of sights. For me anyway.

  • no dude I had a hangfire and so i had to wait a minute in case it still went off, my bolt is still a bit stiff but is loosening up with time, also your probably a better shooter than me, as you get to shoot every week not me though I get to go once every 3-4 weeks for about half the year then in holidays I can go up to 3 times a week and beleive me i get good then

  • wow.. that sucks.. you will love our second ammendment then The Right Own and Bare Arms. I beleive there is only two states that allow full auto but you have to have a c class firing license not too hard to get.. all semi autos are legal and best of all you can use a gun to defend youreself.. its called the CCW carrying concealed weapon license. You have to be 21 and no fealony charges.

  • yeah that would be a sick set up... and no i dont really know anything about the gun laws over there... whats so bad about them?

  • no pistols, no semi autos other than .22 rimfire, you cannot use the gun to defend yourself, you have to apply for a firearms certificate to get a permit for any weapon. No magazines over 10 rounds

  • Hi there. Lovely Enfield, looks like it's in good shape. Just a couple of corrections though:

There is no restriction on magazine size in the UK (except for shotguns held on an SGC, but you can get any capacity on a FAC). You'll see plenty of folks at Bisley shooting 30 round ARs and Rugers, even the odd drum mag!

You can use firearms for self-defence in the UK but you cannot state that as your reason for owning a firearm on your certificate application.

  • you can use them but you cannot wake up in the night hear someone and then go and get the gun, you have to have it out for "cleaning" at the time or something like that.

  • hahaha thats funny. The mossberg is pretty bad ass. and they last forever. Being American i have a bias towards the mossie.. granted. i also own two mossbergs the 270 and the mossberg 535ats.

  • havnt really seen the 270 or the 535ats before but I like the AR-15. I would like to get a Rock River 20 inch barrel AR-15 with EOtech hologram sights. But do you know how bad the UK's gun laws are

  • wow, i bet you would love the ranges over here. they are big and if you like shotguns we do a lot of clays and walk through hunt scenarios. keep shootin!

  • thanks man, I am hoping to move to the USA so maybe I'l come down to Texas, Im hoping to get a Mossberg 590 or a SPAS 12. Also this Christmas Santa is gona bring me a nice AK-103, but if he dont well we'll see how he like .303

  • Heres just some things I heard to help with accuracy.Slowly pull the trigger until the weapon goes off; every shot should be a surprise. When the round goes off, hold the trigger until you recover from the kick. Now I dunno about that second bit I heard but the surprise round part seems to make sense. Pulling the trigger quickly will make you move the rifle a little, so pulling it slowly should assist with the accuracy. Hope this info helps.

  • I don't make the shot a surprise but squeze a little more when I want to shoot. As for the trigger bit that makes no difference as I would have to let go to work the bolt action

  • will have a look at it the next time I get to.

  • Did you just load 5 rounds because you don't want to put in more than you need, because I always thought the Lee Enfield could hold 10 rounds. Nice vid, liked seeing the targets at the end too. If it makes you feel any better, the shots were bunched well enough so that just about all of them woulda been headshots :P Would be nice to see the results of your first outing with the old Enfield.

  • I was holding the camera in one hand and I actually loaded 10 but edited out some of it becuase of the difficulty of holding the gun steady with no hands. Am hoping to take my Enfield to Kingsbury over Christmas.

  • most likely a problem with your magazine's feed lips or the magazine follower (I had an Enfield 2A do the same thing only on every round that fed from one side of the stack). Easiest solution is to get a new mag... you can try and bend the feed lips yourself but that takes alot of trial and error and you may do more harm then good.

  • thanks, for some reason it only does it every so often and only ever on the last round. I'd like to keep all the parts together though as they are all the same number.
