How else are they going to make money? It's not like they put commercials on everything, just stuff like this. A 2hr HD movie like this must be well over 4gb. Multiply that by the 104745 people that have watched this movie alone, and bandwidth costs add up.

They're not just hosting movies, they are hosting videos for millions of users world wide for free. YouTube is owned by Google, which is also mostly free, as you said.

This was a good extension of AFF$, Clint Eastwood did exactly what Sergio Leone wanted. What some of you critics don't know is that the acting you see is onlly about 10% of the total movie. The actors "create footage" for the small army of technicians to cut/splice/rearrange/re-light/­etc. etc. etc. If Clint hadn't done what Leone wanted, they'd have "fixed" the problem in post production. What you see in the end is what the DIRECTOR wants, not what the actors actually did.

Ironically Eric you're correct, Leone originally wanted some other actor who was unavailable at the time. He recommended Eastwood as a man who could play a cowboy "adequately."

It's not Eastwood people admire but the classic anti-hero character he plays, his scruffy mercenary loner provided a needed contrast to the absurd characatures Holywood had been diddling with. As for Eastwood, he's an accomplished actor and director who's subtle minimalism appears to be beyond you.

Youtube could allocate some more bandwidth to this or something, because 15mbps connection is fast enough to stream the HD version. Instead I have to pause the movie for 30 minutes at a time so that it can load enough to play without pausing every 2 minutes is standard definition. Not to mention the fact that the audio levels between the Movie and the Ads. are so grossly different that I think I'm going to blow my speakers every time that an Ad is played.

They are not a trilogy in the "Star Wars" sense. It is just that that they are all related. Clint is not really the same person in all of them if you pay attention. In a way he is the same, as "The Man With No Name", (even tough he is called something different in each movie) but he is just a composite character. John Wells is perfectly evil in this and is just the perfect villian. Lee van Cleef is not the same character from this to TGTBATU. Have an imagination.
