Hmong ppl can either talk to the brides parents or take her, wellingly or not...Nowadys it is more wellingly. If the parents agree there will be a wedding, if they dont agree, they go to the guys house and bring her home, if she wants to. Calling the cops, there's no need unless something is really bad...like if he wont give her back and she's 15 and he's like 35 lol im sure they can talk it out

This is so fucked up. This is something we should abolish. Its disgusting. I heard about a recent case in Aus where were a 23 yr old hmong guy kidnapped a 13 yr old. She had to marry him and ran away on her wedding day only to be found and forced to marry him.
This is so wrong on so many levels. Shame on him and their parents.

Hey, this reminds me of the good ol' days. This is how I married three of my wives, two are still surviving. Kidnapping is an accepted practice, so it shouldn't be called "kidnapping".
I'm being sarcastic, of course. It's a sick practice that needs to be stopped. Women are treated unequally and treated as property. Those who still support this practice are either too old or too ugly to date real women. Face it --- it's kidnapping and you will go to jail.
