  • Huh... I liked "Hairstyles," but I feel like his other stuff resonates more. "The Great Perhaps" is one of the best books I've ever read.

  • LOVE YOU

  • i really like arthur nersesian. they did a tour together.

  • Dear joe meno: I miss your first person POV.

  • i know!

does anyone have any suggestions for somone wanting to read more books similar to his first 3 books (Tender as Hellfire, How the Hula Girl Sings, and Hairstyles of the Damned)

  • oh i know! ah! i love his other stuff but i feel like it doesnt make me as happy as hairstyles of the damned and tender as hellfire...arghhh!

  • yeah I do like the new books, they're cute and they have a peciluar feel to them that i enjoy, but i don't know..i guess they don't have the same heartache.

  • yeah..some of his stuff just hasnt hit me like hairstyles has...ah! but...gotta love him...i love how he uses different styles of music as inspiration

  • yeah, i always felt like his first two were inspired by old modest mouse songs, but it could just be me

other than hairstyles and that i haven't really noticed any

  • my teacher

  • mine too.

  • i meet him at the brooklyn book festivle in september and he is a great guy and very talented writer. i love, read and have all his books.
