I imagine there are a lot of people like yourself who do the same thing with pharmaceuticals, except they think pharms are safer bc they come from their doctor.
BTW, I don't believe in a void of reason for someone using any substance to alter their state of being. The physical side is just one, but there are also the psychological and spritiual/existential aspects.

medical marijuana reform is taking a huge step back and no gain forward. looks like even if i move to a medical marijuana state, i probably wont be guaranteed a card even though i have permanent nerve damage in a amputated finger. sucks, cause i can't take traditional pain meds such as aspirin Tylenol alieve etc. im stuck in a black market

Canada has seen the conservative government in power become more oppressive toward medical marijuana.
In the United States, my opinion is that religiously driven prejudices against a medicinal herb could ultimately lead to advocates of medical marijuana forming alliances with Mexico and or other hostile nations.
American citizens saying, "come on over and we will greet you as liberators "
