Not to mention, Lunar Silver Star Story Complete / Eternal Blue Complete is worth buying a PS for just for those two games. :P
I finished the game a while ago. Word of advice: change the "language" to Phantomile. It makes the awkward dialog more acceptable. And the sounds Klonoa makes in play are better too.
I'll admit now though, that I surprised myself at the end. I got far more attached to the characters than I ever guessed I might.

i prefer the original ps (gibberish voice acting, but i liked the voices and the gibberish) although the wii does look better overall (i prefer the opening cut scenes- not the in the game ones though) I agree the game was too short, and too many cut scenes- there's also a sequel on the ps2 that is beautifully cell shaded and made
i really like the idea of getting the adult POV and the childs especially for the system (wii is fairly child friendly) and for this game in particular - good idea.
The first Klonoa was a part of my childhood, but I never finished it. I might get this game, if I get enough money and there isn't any new games to buy.

If you like turn based battles, you should do Opoona, give that one a review. I picked up that little title and was very pleasantly surprised. It's turn based, sort of, but you have more say in what you do, kinda like Paper Mario, but it isn't action based like Tales of Symphonia.
Banjo and Kazooie was originally on the 64 so Nintendo has the rights to that game such as MGS: Twin Snakes and Sonic Adventure 2. And if they wanted to ask permission they would ask Rare, not microsoft.

if you have/can borrow a ps2 for a day or so, i STRONGLY reccomend playing Klonoa 2, lunatea's veil. it is my favourite game for ps2, it is really really fun. i loved the first klonoa, but like the 2nd one even more. the boss fights are harder but more fun and strategic, the level designs are incredible and some of the backgrounds just blow you away. it is an amazing game, i reccomend it to all!
Its lacks? Too easy, too short and with a pretty bad quality of dialogues, the italian dubbing is almost terrible, but you can choose the original voices in the options so it doesn't matter! Still a marvellous piece of platforming experience!
I'm agreed with daddy actually, it is an high standards platform with exellent controllers and amusing graphic, plus, it gives the chance, for people like me who didn't have the possibility, to play the original for ps1, since this is an almost perfect remake of "door to phantomile"!

Klonoa games are my absolute favorites. They're clever, cute, and aesthetically pleasing. True, they are pretty short but they're worth it. i say uy, because after its beaten once, you'll want to beat it 100%, then you'll forget about it and lose/ forget about it, and find it years later and play it
Platformers and adventure games are why I stuck with Nintendo in this current generation of consoles. If you like platformers you have to check out Nyxquest on Wiiware. It's a great game. There is a free demo on Wiiware too, so everyone should try it.

Omg i remember this game! I luved it 4 ps2, and 4 some reason when we rented it it was all in french with no subtitles so we had no idea wat they were saying, but it was supah fun ^_^
There are actually various differences between the Wiimake and the original PS1 game. For one, the health was bumped up from 3 hearts in the original to 5 hearts in the Wiimake. Another example is the Vision 2 boss, where a gap that spelled instant death in the original was bridged over in the Wiimake. The Vision 5 boss was also made easier in the Wiimake due to the fact that his health was reduced when compared to the original (that boss was also a pain in the ass in the original, as well).
Really? Well that all of a sudden makes me want the PS1 version. I could breeze through the Wii version (although I did find Ghadius to be quite the challenging boss).

There are actually various differences between the Wiimake and the original PS1 game. For one, the health was bumped up from 3 hearts in the original to 5 hearts in the Wiimake. Another example is the Vision 2 boss, where a gap that spelled instant death in the original was bridged over in the Wiimake. The Vision 5 boss was also made easier in the Wiimake due to the fact that his health was reduced when compared to the original (that boss was also a pain in the ass in the original, as well).

Really? Well that all of a sudden makes me want the PS1 version. I could breeze through the Wii version (although I did find Ghadius to be quite the challenging boss).
