  • I can't believe I haven't heard of this. Really want to see it......

  • Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi Propaganda Minister said..."If you tell a Lie enough times it becomes Fact"..........When will people stop believing in Socialist ideals..they don't work...hundreds of nations have tried it and failed miserably....Either far Left Wing Socialist Progressive Communist Democrats are incompetent, insane or they are enemies of the state that want this nation to collapse..In which case they are Traitors..The Worst of all Criminals. Get a Rope

  • The word "Progressive" is another word for the Evils of Marxist Communism.

  • Collective memory misfire. That's what the so-called conservative movement is about. These people have no knowledge of the struggles of real working people in this country ... labor struggles in which people were killed by police in the streets to get the 8 hour work day, for instance.

They forget that "Christian" Ronald Reagan funded death squads in Central America throughout the 1980s.

So-called "conservatives" today side with & support the wealthy & powerful, not the working people.

  • @bapyou Frank grew up in Mission Hills Kansas ...the most afflunet community in Kansas. He is a Marxist Communist. Everything he stands for is contrary to what the founding fathers stood for. There is nothing wrong with Kansas as far as I can see. There is something very wrong with Barney Frank...I mean Thomas Frank..No relation...really...I am pretty sure....well maybe a little.

  • @MarkFFHH "Frank ... is a Marxist Communist." So am I. And your point is?

Today (11/2/10) I voted for every member of the Revolutionary Socialist-Marxist Angry Lesbian Workers Party that I could find on the ballot here in California.

Who'd you vote for? The Old White Guy Tea Bag Spectacularly Dumber-than-Dirt Nigger-Hatin' Party?

"Everything (Frank) stands for is contrary to what the founding fathers stood for."

Do you mean like slavery? I guess you're right there.

  • @bapyou I hate Marxist Commies because they stand contrary to everything the Founding Fathers stood for. As for the Tea Party...Its all about fiscal responsibility..its not for or against Demoncrats or Republicans..they are the same to me..There is no diffence between Bush and Obama. BTW...Slavery was an institution that was supported by the old southern demoratic party..as well as Jim Crow laws and the KKK...do your research. The Republican was started by Abolitionist. sorry

  • @MarkFFHH "I hate Marxist Commies because they stand contrary to everything the Founding Fathers stood for."

    Name one thing.

Also, the founding father stood for slavery (3/5 of a man). Do you stand for that as well? Stuck in the past are we?

"Slavery was an institution that was supported by the old southern demoratic party"

And a good many Republicans. Your point is?

Today the Republican Party appeals to nigger-hatin' dumb-ass white guys. What happened?

  • @bapyou I could name thousands of things..LOL..But I have limited space.......Maybe you should go back to Elementary School little girl.

    Communism:

    1) No private ownership of anything.

    2) No Constitutional Rights

    3) No true free elections in Communist nations.

    4) All power vested in a small group of unelected offocials that decides course of actions by the govt.

    5) No free enterprise. production all decided by the govt.

    All Communist states fail financially.

  • @MarkFFHH Also, 90% of the USA's Financial problems can be linked to social programs. The USA's achilles heel is the diease known as socialism.

  • @MarkFFHH I'm afraid you're the little schoolgirl here.

"1) No private ownership of anything"

A fallacy. You are free to have private personal property under communism. What you are not allowed to do is privately own and profit from vital resources such as water, agricultural land, oil, or the means of producing their derivitive products.

"2) No Constitutional Rights" A lie. Chile under Allende had a constitution. He was overthrown by a US-backed coup which negated the constitution.

  • @MarkFFHH

"3) No true free elections in Communist nations."

Elections are a game for the wealthy elite. We are allowed evry 2-4 years to "elect" whoi will opress us next. In America our elections are neither true nor "free."

"4) All power vested in a small group of unelected offocials that decides course of actions by the govt."

This is a lie. In communism, the power is held by the people.

"All Communist states fail financially." And the US has seen to it that they do so.

  • @bapyou They know how to cure Homosexuality today..as well as child molesters and other sexual deviants and Perverts.... .... Thanks to Advances in Modern Medicine help is availabe to you...Good Luck with that.

  • @bapyou My point is is that if Marxist Communism is so terrrific why don't you move to North Korea or Cuba...The Chi-Coms would love to use you as Propganda...LOL...People risk their Lives to get out of Marxist Communist Countries for a reason. You never see people risking their Life trying to escape a Constitutional Republic likethe USA do you? You woulnd't have to any way..you're free to leave...unlike Marxist Communist Progressive countries.

  • @MarkFFHH "why don't you move to North Korea or Cuba"?

#1. I don't speak Korean & my Spanish is poor. #2. I can barely afford to pay my rent, let alone afford the expense of moving to another country. Also you appear not to know that -- here in the land of the free -- we are not allowed to travel to Cuba.

I always wonder why you people ask that question. I think you're incapable of conceiving of free-thinking Americans arriving at the conclusion that capitalism is a cesspool of misery.

  • How dare anyone who voted for the slogan hope and change criticize others for being overly emotional or simple-minded in their political appeals.

Wake up progressives. You are losing independents too. Massachusetts is not Kansas, but you lost it there. You've lost the governorship in VA and NJ. How long will you blame others for your failed ideology?

  • now do a book on whats the matter with illinois, or how BAMA sold out the common folks to the insurance industry and wall street and global coroporate america,,,,,OUR FEDERAL GOVT IS OWNED BY WALL STREET AND COPORATE AMERICA, WAKE UP FOOLS.

  • @ERROLCUSTERFLYNN4EVR

Absolutely nobody is arguing that. The democrats are spineless puppets of the same corporate overlords. The problem with your comment is that you assume this movie is an attack on Kansas, but instead it's a focus on how cultural issues are dividing America, yet economically, the poorest of the poor (and I have to say, white poor) are voting with Republicans who do not represent their economic interests! This is a richer tale to talk about than corrupt Illinois politics!

  • can we cut the country in half----

    CONS on one side

    DEMS on the other

I am so sick of the CONS

  • If we shifted power back to the states the problem would be taken care of. Democrats could live in their favored states and Republicans could live in their favored states. The problem is that we are deadlocked into a struggle in Washington D.C. that leaves everyone unhappy. The federal government needs to return to its basic functions so that this nation can prosper in peace

  • @BikiniBabe1985 Just to point out-- conservatives would love this and so would corporate America because state governments are weak and will never have enough resources to achieve any regulation or power over corporations. BUT, I do wish culturally the country could divide up better. Let the conservatives have some states.

  • And so the better solution is having a massive federal government, which the multinational corporations control? First off, corporations are not necessarily bad. My parents owned a very good corporation and faced all kinds of pointless regulations and taxes. Monopolies cannot be created without government interference. Capitalism is a very good system; it is not capitalism that destroyed our economy, it is corporatism.

  • @BikiniBabe1985 Dont have a solution other then people organizing and running their own candidates to change laws. The Fed. Government as is is no solution and power back to the states imo would work and is as much a pipe dream anyway.

  • Well what does work then? I am not a neoconservative, but I cannot understand what liberals actually believe. Is there a certain limit as to what is the responsibility of government? Do liberals believe that state run monopolies are more efficient than private enterprises? Should we just do away with private property altogether? Thomas Franks sees economics from a purely Marxist perspective. He does not understand the basic laws of supply and demand

  • @BikiniBabe1985 (NOT work I meant, obviously)

  • @rickbar123 I'm even more sick of the DEMS. At least the CONS have balls unlike Obama and the CONS have an actual party unlike the pathetic Democrats that have a bunch of lamelt titled "Blue Dog" assholes that are CONS and go against their own party.

  • "Christian Nation?"

The founding fathers intended -no such thing- It's in their writings-- they intended an egalatarian, secular government as the VERY FIRST priority of the US constitution.

    -

Why is this religion always trying to hijack famous figures as it's own...? Does the religion not bear credibility on it's own merits...?

I am very suspicious that such untruths are being bandied about. The founding father's views on Christianity are in fact part of recorded history. Do people not read?
