I dont think it will be good for the United Kingdom if Palestine goes into the radical hands of the Hamas. @timkul76 Look in a history book, before the state was established, it was the british mandate of palestine and before that it part of the Ottoman empire, infact Israel is an ancient land that has been constantly part of an empire. Palestine is a name given to the land by the Romans 300 years before the expelled the Jews. And until 1967 Palestinians were known as Arabs. Most of the Arabs who left in 1948 did so willingly because they thought they would return once Israel was destroyed.
