  • this is like deus-ex synthesizer music which is kind of freaky (admit it!) but also very enjoyable. definitely not something to show your friends, even if you like it.

  • 1:21 into this song I shit my pants, you will too.

    Just a heads up.

  • Such a chooooon!

  • @dubvoyageruk agreed

  • so coool!!!!

  • @SlowJoman ...i also does not like this track very much... despite i apreciate nearly everything i've heared from 65dos. But check out other tracks, hm? :))

  • On hold on the day is young, the ration card the scoured lung, up wake up the futures here the schools all closed the roads all clear

  • its glorious.

  • sheer genius, 7th may Rock city - 65 FTW!

  • @TitchTitchingTon I was there too :)

  • Porn for the ears :)

  • 65 are singing? wtf? haha great song. cant wait to see them in may :)

  • Cant wait for the 26th April

  • New album 'We were exploding anyway' to be released soon, anyone got a better idea of the release date thatn 'Spring'? :P

  • 26th April :)

  • tbf, this is a fucking good tune. (Y)

  • ration carbon scoured lung makes sense!

    but lava? i mean seriously....

  • Nice

  • @mezzamie Hey, asked Paul at the Oran Mor gig in Glasgow, he had to listen back to it off my mobile but confirmed that the line at the end is 'Dead is alive and the lost is found' ;)

Awesome gig too, the new album is fantastic, especially Debutante & Tiger Girl at the end. Ended up chatting to them after the gig too; apparently the next album is gonna be more like the old stuff and not as much 'dance music' :D

  • GAH A CAPELLA OUTRO

    FUCKING EPIC

  • ohhh yes!

  • On, move on, they're gaining ground.

In to the light and the lost is found

On, move on, they're gaining ground

In our cities, in our towns

On, Move on, they're gaining ground

Waiting with the lights turned down

In to the light and the lost is found.

  • Why is it that this doesn't sound anything like any of the other videos on youtube claiming to be "The Distant and Mechanized Glow of Eastern European Dance Parties"?

  • because this isn't "the distant and mechanised glow of eastern european dance parties". the song is called "dance parties (distant)" and was released on the ep "the distant and mechanised glow of eastern european dance parties"

  • I figured that out about 5 minutes after posting that comment lol. :P

  • There are three different versions.

  • there are 2 (or even 3) versions. 2 are on the EP and 1 on the full album. someone correct me if i am wrong.

  • yeah the original Distant and Mechanised Glow of Eastern European Dance Parties is on the Destruction of Small Ideas album. Their was a single with the same name which included the two remixed versions Dance Parties (Distant) and Dance Parties (Mechanised)

  • See, i thought it was "ration, carbon, scoured lung"; the Radio protector video on here talks about rationing carbon so you can see the logic. I met them at the king tuts gig, forgot to ask them - they WILL actually sit and tell fans lyrics at gigs :P But yeah i think mezzame is right, dont think its got anything to do with lava :S

  • LAAAAAAAAAWLDY HAWHAW

  • That radio protector video is just fanmade, and they edit that speech in- it had nothing to do with 65days. It was cool though.

  • Yeah the audio is edited in, didnt realise the video was fan made though (lots of it was similar to the imagery projected behind the band on the radio protector tour, talk of carbon useage at the start, all the polaroids etc)

But still not convinced the lyric in Distant is 'crashing cloud', theres a lot of discussion about it on 65kids though and it seems most fans think that it is; they're probably right, i just dont hear it.

  • actually I'm wrong the speech thing was put in for the official it just isn't included in the album version

  • Sorry have I entered a lyrical hair-splitting class?

  • nothing like their other stuff and yet this is like the messiah of electronica brit indie (yeah i just made up a new genre of music :]). loving this song

  • Electronica brit indie. Haha.

  • on move on they're gaining ground(s)

into the light and the lost is found

on move on they're gaining ground

in our cities in our towns

on move on they're gaining ground

waiting with the lights turned down

into the light and the lost is found

THE MOST jaw-dropping wicked song ever.... on repeat for the 100000000 time.....

  • isn't it on the run?

  • no those lyrics were right

  • Those lyrics are WAAAY wrong. "On, move on, they're gaining ground, In to lava, lost is found. On, move on, they're gaining ground, In the cities, in the towns. Waiting with the lights turned down, In to lava, lost is found. On, hold on, the day is young, The crashing cloud, the scoured lung. Up, wake up, the future's here, The schools all closed, the roads all clear. On, hold on, they're gaining ground, On, hold on, they're gaining ground. "
  • Different style than most of their music, but it still manages to kick my ass! This song is fantastic, one of their best.

  • sooo cool *___*

  • 3:27 ahhhh awesome

on hold on, the day is younggg

  • This song is like, god's gift to mankind. 65daysofstatic is an incredible group.

  • unexpected, i'd not heard the single version before.

  • this is their best song in my opinion

  • Awesome video.

  • Belongs on the EP, for sure, but I'm rather fond of this song, even though it's more 'club' than 65dos usually is.

    Great video, regardless of song.

  • @FreshmanThesis yeah but how awesome would it be if this came on in a club instead of usher or jls?!

  • @ribenawrath Excellent point, that

  • I love 65dos saw them live in nottingham not long ago fairly small gig but made it more intense which was amazing =D if any of you out there that like the band and havnt yet seen em live i urge u to do it. its something u will never forget

  • This song is actually brilliant. :o

  • This isn't 65 DOS, best song, and I do like electronic style music, but it's still a fairly decent song, It's just that when I come to 65 DOS I don't expect this, I expect better, but still a great song

  • Great music

  • Awesome

  • Took me a million views to notice our friend CEE man at the start.....

  • can't stop watching this:)

  • Awesome video! I freaking love this band!
