I have A1AD -- zz/lung effected.

So does my brother.

This is a terrible disease. My biggest fear is dying while gasping for air.

I am scared and would be terrifiied if I had to get a lung transplant.

However, I miss being active, the way I use to be. I literally have dreams of being able to run -- I'm so happy. Then I wake ...

I hate not being able to take a full breath... very little air expells.

I'm so happy for that man. I hope he lives and long & healthy life.
