Did he, in fact, ever complete an accredited grammar school in this country ?

no, this posts relates to the Fox News commentator Jesse Lee Peterson. How on earth does this man get called "rev" ? I suspect that this is a completely fabricated credential. I PRAY that I never hear the Rev.Wright giving thanks to God 4 slavery or the history of slavery in this country (however wonderful things will ever get for blacks).African slavery will forever be a halocautic stain on this nation&a crime against all humanity. Evil happens, but Christians don't thank God for evil works

@mechael1983 now that is the point isn't is? whoever is funding this knows exactly what they are doing. keep them hating, keep them divided, keep them fighting, keep them doing the devil's work. this jeremiah keeps profiting and who's work are these preachers are doing, both black and white & yellow etc. satan's work of course. hate is all that fills usa. usa is not a good nation & never will be. it is filled with haters and sinners and god will destroy it. those who like sacrifice are doomed.

What would happen if I marched in that church on a Sunday morning and sat down in the front row? Would they welcome me in their church? Or would they make me leave, because my ancestors owned slaves...even though I wasn't alive back then.

Just an FYI - if you really want to sit in the front pew, you'll have to show up very early; the parking lot fills quickly. Deciding to worship at Trinity would be an significantly educational, spiritual and fellowship experience that would challenge all of your preconceived notions about the congregation.

@mechael1983 You would be very welcome. Jeremiah Wright is not racist. If he were, he would not be a minister in the United Church of Christ (which is a mostly WHITE denomination in Christianity).

no, i caught it later. I was very interested when he talked about the multi-linguistic nature of the symbols.

Probably because I belong to the white gospel crowd that he's always critiquing. I like to ask questions or point out what I think are inconsistencies rather than blatant name-calling.

To be positive- the rev. is great orator (I'm sure much like the great King Jr.), I agree when he points to Jesus as the way. I'm running out of space.

Rev Wright preaches the good will of God, while exposing the danger and result of violence. This is what God's book tells us. You just want to be blind and watch your sports and music videos, say the world is perfect and be unaware of evil, while this man is telling us what God expects of this country, what we should be living up to. The goodness we seek. Don't let the media blind you. Don't fear the truth for it will set you free.
