The Gepard was designed to solve the problem Germany had during ww2 defending cities as well as strategic positions against bombers and other attack planes. The latest version of the turret is able to shoot down so called "stealth - planes" as well as it have a jamming device. today the Gepard is only planned for securing camps of the Bundeswehr. the turret of the Gerard also works fully automatically and will hit 100%

@hermosotealonso it can carrier stingers or "Anti air rockets" for higher range if the target is not in range of the 2x 35mm guns. The gepard can also hit every air-to-ground missiles/bombs or air-to-air missiles (if in range). The turret system is also fully compatible to a full/bigger radar unit working completely automatic.

Sie könnten locker Überschall fliegen. Sie fliegen ja auch immerhin knapp Unterschall. Erzähl mir bitte nichts über Militärfluggeräte.

@T1w4z wenn du dich mal informierst dann würdest du wissen das die neuere verson von der F22 auch gegen boden ziehl eingesetzt werden kan z.b häuser infanderei und auch gegen fahrzeuge also bite F22 auch ein bomber (meine meinung nach) natürlich kann die nicht so eine vielzahl von bomben mitführen wie F117 und der B2 des weiteren werden die F 117 und der B2 der geschichte angehören da sie zu kostspielig sind da die aufgaben genau so die f22 erledigen kann

@Deutscher03051990 Sie ist in der Lage Bomben abzuwerfen da hast du natürlich recht. Die F22 ist ein Mehrzweckkampfflugzeug. Ihre Kernaufgabe ist aber die Luftüberlegenheit und dazu ist Überaschall unverzichtbar. Ähnlich wie der Eurofighter. Der ist ebenfalls ein Mehrzwecker, aber man sieht schon an der Bauart dass der Schwerpunkt die Luftüberlegenheit ist. Bomben kannst du theoretisch auch aus ner 474 abwerfen. :)
