I did also some resaerch to buy a separate mic for my camera, in most cases it delivers better sound quality and is less prone to wind and camera noise as you cab isolate them both.

I'm going for the Cannon DM-100, after watching the review clips on youtube I was impressed by its freqency spectrum and clarity.

Just missing something: SOUND!

But this can't be blamed to the filmer, these things are just bloody silent, a lot of electrics make more noise.

I certanly like more the 2m62's and 2TE10's.

Yeah... these locos are very silent, but in this particular case the loco is cruising with 0% trottle, that's why it doesn't make any noise. In the future i will buy a microphone and then sound quality will be better.

this is the ER20 2007, it has been modified to fit the soviet gauge, ant the design has been improved. And now it has six axles

the soviet ER20's have SA3 Knuckle couplers not the buffer and chain, which I think is old fashond and more dangerous and the SA3 type knuckle is way better and the 5 foot guage is better then the standard guage, I think, I saw make the Chinese railways all 5 feet guage
