Hello. Glad you enjoyed the series. This was a wonderful time to be alive to witness live. And, this was one of my favorite tapes because it captured the spirit of rock from the mid 50's when I was born (54Rein) to when it aired in 1979.

I think one of the most important parts of this documentaries is understanding the effect that the music had on young whites at the time. Remember, this is the era of separate bathrooms, etc.
While the civil rights movement might have eventually won out anyway, I think that music had a major impact in knocking down the segregation door, and showing us that we are people first, and color is irrelevant.

Very nice music memories, those stuffy white class thought they were going to control the influence of music and put an end to Rock n Roll-Huh-Not.
