The first band is the Maine Safty Band. The others, with the exception of half of the NHSSA band are all grade 5 bands, so they will sound basic. The stewards, tried to send us in playing the same tune, but started us at different times, so that's whey the "green bills" sounded bad. Also some bands played when the battle's over, and others did not. One last thing...I don't see any of your vods here, and Andreas is a good piper. I don't take kindly to you saying he has logs for ears.
They may be Grade 5 but they are all at different levels of grade 5 some better than others, the only band that is not grade 5 is Maine Safety, and if you listen to them you'll know there is no grade for this crap !!!!!
I know this is an old post, but I have to comment. For your info, Maine Public Safety is not a Competition Band! So take your grade 5 & stuff it.They are good people who serve our Country and continue to do so through the bands' Mission.They are not looking to win awards or Compete or even be judged by you. They are very dedicated members,full of honor & respect..who found a love for the Pipes & Drums. So when your bashing on them remember, they are playing for the Fallen Heros.
