  • hey you use only one bearing at the handle?

  • never tried it, the lighter the camera the harder to stabilize in m y opinion

  • will these things work with pocket cams?

  • You dont show how you do it and how it work.

  • please add me to the list of good diy steadicam makers. thanks

  • MrsPalmerTV is the vendor of cam caddie and puts the same comment on all videos..... Pay close attention guys!!!!

  • I had a hell of a time making a reliable steadycam from home. Finally I ordered a Cam Caddie SCorpion and it's done everything I hoped it would. For $38 I have a well designed camera stabilizer.

  • @MrsPalmerTV if you shoot some video with the scorpion feel free to add it as a response to my video.I would like to see the results as making a real home made stabilizer is not as easy as it looks for darn sure. thanks for the information

  • @MrsPalmerTV The scorpion is not a camera stabilizer in any way. Only a handle that may steady your motion but it is not any type of steady cam.

  • Great stuff. Thanks for sharing.

  • I'm trying to find the guy who sells metal u joint on ebay but had no luck so far.

Can you plz hemp me out?? Thanks

  • @photoskiasi hello everybody, I finally found the steel u joint seller. go to ebay and search for seller by this name

eBay My World: rcworldwide dot com dot hk

  • @mrhulot101

I wasn't able to find the seller you mentioned directly by searching at eBay, so I googled the name and found the link to their eBay page. I then searched for any sort of u-joint and found nothing. What exactly do I search for to find the item? Also, I did find a few other steel u-joints on eBay, but I unsure of what to look for as per the size and if it needs to be threaded or whatever? Thanks.

  • How do you get the u-joint apart without breaking the plastic.

  • This is very nice, and very useful to mitigate camera shake. I've just been taping a thin metal rod with some foam to my cell-phone camera to take videos, originally to stick in the ground for free hands, but it also helps steady it too : )

  • hello walney,

i bought it early this year on ebay from a guy in Hong Kong, it was very cheap, under 10 bucks, I can not find the info though as my paypal records do not allow me to go back that far and my emails to him are on my old compter that has broken.

I will do some mre searching on ebay to see if I can find it.

  • Thanks for the heads up about the stainless universal joints, do you have the seller's ebay username by any chance?
