Here is some info for you... Pepper-spray is "Oleoresin Capsicum" NOT CS! Pepper spray (OC) has a reddish tint and oily residue...None of which is present on this video. The "onion" remedy does not work for OC.

If at least one sign was present I would have believed it. I almost always side with Palestinians, but not in this specific case.

I wonder, but I was just replying to all you people playing like they rubbed onions on his eyes to make him cry and that this is fake, yes, they use the onions to make you cry, but they learned this after being sprayed with CS gas. I'd say there's a good chance this is not a fake video, but what they did to deserve the CS gas (or not deserve it) is up in the air.

My comment is not based on conclusions as you have stated, but on experience. I am trained in the use of both OC and CS as I am required to carry it while at work. I suggest YOU do some more research before replying to comments.
Here is some info for you... Pepper-spray is "Oleoresin Capsicum" NOT CS! Pepper spray (OC) has a reddish tint and oily residue...None of which is present on this video. The "onion" remedy does not work for OC.

@bweazel Here are some facts about both OC and CS.... They both can cause flushing of the face, sweating, teary eyes, red eyes or runny nose. NONE of which are present in this video. If at least one sign was present I would have believed it. I almost always side with Palestinians, but not in this specific case.

@abqskinhead Also, I'm not sure where you all are getting this information that pepper spray is red. Most are a clear liquid. From what I'm reading, some forms come as orange, but most are clear. Even in the video over to the right, Double Dose Pepper Spray, it is a clear liquid, and does not leave a reddish tint on the guy's face.

Just type in what color is pepper spray, most every single response I found on google said clear, only a few said orange, and none said red. I'm aware there's a difference. I'm just trying to bring to your attention that Arabs use onions to counteract CS gas, which leads me to believe that is what was used on them, not pepper spray.

I do agree that many Palestinians are tortured by Israel, but I just don't see it here. The facts of the video are few... a boy, no visual evidence, no Israeli soldier/policeman and no spray can. Does Israel use torture... YES! Just no proof here in this specific case.

@bweazel Ahhh but using pain compliance is typically used as a torture tactic. Maybe because this is not so bad? How about Chinese Water Torture? There is no pain there, but it is indeed torture. When someone uses something that affects a persons mental or physical state negatively, it can be torture. Try reading Wikipedia's or Websters definition of it. If this is in Palestine and was true, I would consider it being torture as they have no business causing pain to anyone there. Just my opinion.

In the other case, you are being restrained against your will, you have no freedom, and you are being purposefully annoyed to the point to where it becomes torture. I'd say the two scenarios are quite different. Unless of course you tied a person down and dripped pepper spray into an eye, that'd be torture.

Yes, they are encroaching on their territory, but the political situation is so finicky there it'd be hard to say who is in the wrong. Palestinians do riot, some times in what is considered Israel. It would be hard to say, with the very little video and information we have on this, if they were justified in using OC or CS.
