@greenblacky Your 100% right. Why do you think they're so many British and Australian Comedy/Programs/Documentaries on the ABC and so many American shows on a channel like 10 ? While the former expands your mind and forces you to think about new things the latter does not. There are ofcourse Americans who understand this humor as much as there are Australians who dont. There are always idiots no matter where you go, down the street or across the pond. BTW this skit wasn't incredibly smart

@AmericaRulesCanada i find australian/british humour is much the same, its quite funny cause i am one myself and i find americans absolutely boring and cannot understand humour at all. but thats because we have grown up enjoying two different types of humour

@Rachulie Because it is not funny - just unpleasant. I am a New Zealander. My father fought during the war, and all they wanted was American comedians, like Bob Hope. He also loved Danny Kaye, as the Australians did also. I guess you have never heard of these people, but they never resorted to foul mouthed hard swearing to get laughs. Australians always have.
Australian humor does not work outside Australia. Even we New Zealanders don't get it. Mind you, Australians don't like NZ humor.

@Rachulie Of course American humor is funny. My favorite American comedian without a doubt was Mark Twain. You tell me ANY Australian comedian who can match this guy.
Some of your other commedians are good also - Charles Chaplin, Danny Kaye, Bob Hope, Laurel and Hardy, Bill Maher, Jerry Lweis, Groucho Marx, Sid Caesar, Jack Benny, Lucille Ball and of course Eddie Murphy.

Why does American humor suck so much? I'm American and hate almost all of our comedy. I usually stuck with English, like Monty Python's Flying Circus, but I think I'm gonna need to check out some Aussie stuff.

@mwakin22 Actually, American humour (spelt humor in Ashtraylia) is actually funny. I hate to say it, but us Kiwis have hardly sny sense of humour. As for Australian "humor"... have you heard about the smallest book in the world - the Australian book of humor.
