I remember recording this movie when I was little on tape, lol. This was definitely one of my favorite disney movies as a kid. HUGE crush on Kona. And I always wanted to live somewhere so beautiful like that. Disney movies had It MADE back then. <3

I LOVED Disney Channel growing up. I'm nearly 23 now. It was fantastic before zoog disney. Zoog was ok, but after that it just went all downhill. They don't make decent movies anymore and the shows have no meanings and no life lessons like they used to. It's no wonder kids these days are so awful.

Anyone remember a show from MTV that only ran one season - it was a surf competition show for girls called Surf Girls or something like that. May have been 2003 or a little later. It followed a real life young women's surf competition. I always think about it when I see this movie, but can't find it anywhere.

When I was a kid, I wanted my hair to look like hers. She had very good hair. I don't know, I was a weird kid....I would spend, like, the entire span of the movie hot curling my hair because flat irons weren't widely used yet, and my hair would always turn out terribly! I even burned myself once and I still have the scar. But, anywho, I love this movie... Thanks for the upload.

Well, she obviously got a nose job and probably some other cosmetic work done so she looks more cookie-cutter Anglo now. I guess it depends on how you define beauty, but I think she looked better before - more natural.
