i dont think its scary since you always have 3 people in your team who protect you. but sometimes when a horde or a tank just spawns direct into your face it can be scary. so i would give it a 3/10 at most. its more about co-operation and teamwork than scariness.

dont play VS when you play it for the very first time otherwise you will most likely get kicked, because one bad team member screws up the whole team.

when you create a friends only lobby you are able to change the setting to local server. also when you search for a dedicated server and directly stop the search it ask you if you want to host the game on a local server

I recorded a demo (.dem) file using recorddemo. Then I played it back (be sure to set your game resolution to 1280x720, so when you upload to youtube it's in HD) and created a sequence of screenshots using the startmovie and endmovie commands. I imported the sequence (.tga files) into Adobe Premier, where I did the editing, and exported using the Adobe Media Encoder (built into premier), using the H.264 codec, so it was a .mov file.

It's all servers. It happens offline in singleplayer as well. The ball physics are just extremely flawed (but hilarious).

Awesome vid. I'm the guy that made the Hunter Games mod, and I've been thinking a lot about making a tank mod as well. I could easily get a mod set up with 8 tanks, all human controlled. Would be a blast. Great work man!

also i wanted to ask which format you used for you hunter games video.

i used .wmv and it made the quality much worser (hard to see the tanks sometimes)
