I'm 4ft 11 and damn proud of it. I'm always told to shop at the childrens department for clothing but I have and will always flat out refuse. I am a 28 year old woman, not a child. There are very very few manufacturers of clothing for the shorter lady. These models weren't petite, just average height. Having said all of that, and having watched the cycle, I honestly think Tyra's intention was to prove that you can still model even if your are under the average model height.
