My daughter did gymnastics until 9th grade and then started diving on 1 meter. She did not compete at 3 meter until college. This video was made her senior year at her final meet.
Difficult dives are practiced over a trampoline with a harness attached to a rope and pulley. Check out diving.isport.com/diving-guides/the-benefits-of-dryland-training-in-diving for more info. Missed dives from 3 meter can really hurt. It takes concentration and courage.
@AODennison. Oh right, do you know any good clubs that acually let you do that trampolining and diving thing. All the clubs i go to dont let you practice of a trampoline
At Boston University and Harvard the trampolines with harnesses are only for the use of divers. So I am not sure why you would not be allowed. Ask your coach.
Wow, there brave i dont even dare do that of a 3meter board. how did they learn all these moves??
