  • Sam's Spooky Chair returns

  • If those girls in Salem let her take the hit for what they did, they should do some serious time in hell if it exists!

  • Samantha made a very good Queen. She was so humble and she practiced Soloman-like wisdom. A good example of how the best leaders are the reluctant ones.

  • Samantha is so beautiful in her queen dress

  • Sorry, make that September 1967-68 season premiere.

  • Yes, Samantha tells Darrin that she's bound to be Queen for at least a year. So, yes, it was explained.

This was the Fourth Season opener ~~ I remember watching this like it was yesterday. It was September 1968. *sigh*

  • Yep, you're right ahhhhyesyesyes! Tituba and the neighbor were played by the same actress, Ruth McDevitt. She did a lot of tv work back in the '60s.

  • love when the chair comes in lol !

  • they somehow managed to make a crowning ceremony look american with that music...

  • Um... Was it ever explained why Samantha just kind of stopped being queen after a while?

  • No matter which Darrin it is both are hotheads..get angery at the slightest thing..both should have gone to anger managenet classes lol.

I'd love to have Samantha as Queen of the witches.. I'd take it as learning something new.

  • They talk about her house being blah but whenever the witches meet they are in some dreary misty woods, I guess the show was trying to save $ on sets!

  • That's the same chair we saw in the episode where an old fiend of Sam's had been turned into it.

  • Haha, she so reminds me of Glenda from The Wizard of Oz, in that dress. Samantha is the good witch and her mom is the wicked witch of the east, hehehe!!!

  • Tetchuba :3 was also a part of the Salem witch trial although she was Native American slave...

  • @diamondyne Tituba was actually a black slave. :)

  • That chair and then lamp walking in the front door in front of Darrin's potential client has to the be the funniest all time scenes in "Bewitched"'s history. LMAO! And Dick York's higher pitched voice, in the kitchen, is more then entertaining.

  • This episode though is very original for the show. This is also when the show was at it's creative height, it's too bad what would be around the corner starting in two more seasons would not measure up, at all.

  • Everything is from a previous episode lol

  • :) yes...its fun spotting things

  • thats the same chair from a previous episode!
