I'm playing the original arcade version in MAME, and I want to ask for some help. For some reason, when I play it, it lags like crazy. Even on Windows 7. Do you know of anyway to fix this?

Try using the Zinc emulator, its an mame-esque type of emulator that kind of emulates psx-ish arcade games. get the bios required to run mr.driller and the rom for mr.driller, and then you're all set.

I did, but as I have lost the source video AND my Director Account privilege I removed it for good. Maybe I would redo the whole thing and put it all up - after all YouTube can now accomodate 1GIG per video, but it's over 10 minutes I totally HATE splitting videos, so.

Furthermore I beat it about 5 times on the PSX and the PC combined as is and my performance in this half I thought was much better as I lost no life. At the much later stage I struggled and lost one or two, but I beat it anyway.

I remember I had a crappy PS1 that didn't play all the sound channels in the music to this game. It sounded better than when I cleaned it. :( Great game gameplaywise though. :D

Mr. Driller.  I've never played a finer game on any console. Take that, Gears of War. You are IN the puzzle. How about that? And, it makes your CPU think. You should try it on M.A.M.E it's much smoother.

Fantastic video. My favorite of all Mr. Driller versions is Dreamcast but I own this for several other platforms too including Bandai Wonderswan!

Mr.Driller: Drill Spirits was the first Mr.Driller game I played AND the first DS Game I've ever played... besides Metroid Prime: Hunters.

I lost my demo of MP:H though. :(
