way to solve this issue. i actually think that infrazoom is right u should do a vaping for dummies video. i just got somebody to convert and bought them a 510 with drip tip and liquid. i think if you do a video it will help me in explaining everything, but it will help others as well. hope you keep up the good work. happy vaping dude!
@italianbro1234 I actually have plans for an entire series. Everything from what vaping is to choosing a device to picking atomizers, care, cleaning, feeding, etc...Hell, I may do one tonight. I need a dew, though...and some coffee.
@terraphon sounds good. i think this will help the further understanding of the differences between the ecigs, and how each work differently. (for those who are new to vaping and dont already know). your reviews are the best keep up the good work.
@dpasdamoney I'm just glad I had the opportunity to do the right thing and help. Of course, I'll always do this same thing if I find other problems...that's just my nature. I'm a natural born pain in the ass ;)
Thanks for the comments, everyone. I'm really glad I was able to get the issue looked in to and sorted out and I appreciate all the help I got from everyone involved in the process. When it all boils down to it, everything I do is for everyone out there. Those who watch my videos, and those who don't. Again, I'm just happy I could shed some light on the issue and get it fixed.
Nice job! I wonder how many of the first run of the units are out there, though. A recall or notification of the folks who have those would really be, to me, the best end to this story. Thanks for everything you did to help protect the consumers, I really do appreciate it.
Great job sir! Way to stick to your guns and get the job done! Who knows how many people's houses you saved from burning down from this problem. You should feel awesome for doing this. Again, great job!
@infrazoom Yeah, bro...I'm super glad they stepped up to the plate and took care of business. I really hope this goes to show everyone out there that things CAN get done and when there's an issue it's best to not just back away from it and hope it never goes bad. People have to stand up and make themselves heard in order for things to get done. I took a LOT of flak for this, behind the scenes and I hope everyone who was against this sees, now, that it WAS an issue and needed to be fixed.
@terraphon personally the people giving you flake are morons, sorry but honestly if you have video proof with no cuts or anything and it's authentic then i don't see the issue in addressing a problem which you did, this WAS a hazard everyone knows how hot attys can get and how they can melt stuff like drip tips, carpet and such so good job again, keep these coming looking out for the safety of others is a good thing and will solidify vaping.
@infrazoom Eh...the issue wasn't so much people saying the problem was "faked" or anything but more people saying either A) Yes, it exists but nobody would ever do that OR B) Drop it, you're making reviewers look bad and you're making it tough on people who do vaping videos...Well, to those people I will say, AGAIN, I'm not here for YOU. I'm here for the community. I don't care if it makes it hard for you to get free stuff. If I see a problem, I will bring it up and try to get it corrected.
@terraphon regardless of the reason, if you're a reviewer and miss a common flaw like this and are trying to HIDE it because of your own personal look you need to stop making videos and stfu frankly, honestly the entire point people watch reviews is to get a very candid review of a product with no bias. The logical solution would have been to support you and say "hey, i fucked up and missed this on my first run through of this product, good looking out" but i guess pride is a terrible thing.
@infrazoom You're totally right, dude...Pride kills. Thing is that so many reviewers out there are only interested in getting tons of free stuff and becoming internet celebrities...it's like a stupid competition; "he who dies with the most free e-cigs stuffed in their desk drawers wins". It's kinda funny, sometimes.
@terraphon actually that is pretty damn funny and puts things in prospective. oh well, i've slowly been removing people from my youtube sub list because frankly i don't feel their reviews really matter anymore, and as i've come to learn more about the products produced by the manufacturers the less i find their information to be accurate, alot of times it's just "puff, zomg this hits nice buy it" other it's "puff, hits poorly don't buy it" need more detail and indepth information =)
@infrazoom Haha, yeah...once you watch a few videos from a lot of those people it becomes pretty easy to tell they're full of it. The one I love most, and I called her out, was a lady who doesn't inhale in ANY of her reviews but talks about how good the throat hit is. I caught that, then watched other view she's done and almost fell out of my chair...that's the kind of crap that goes on with lots of the reviewers. Funny on one hand, sad on other...and bad for the consumers and the industry.
@terraphon thats hilarious, lol. Dude, you should really consider a Vaping for Dummies video, i think i've mentioned this before but i think it would be a huge benefit to explain how it works, the difference between the attys, whats in the juice, what to expect from it all and really help people who are trying to convert from cigarettes. i think you would probably give the most accurate and unbiased video out of all of them.
