You will need a strong PSU then, it requires 250-300W, the card easily overheats, I have the GPU and it freezes every time I run the game, though mine is 2 years old, but still, if you want SLI just put external heatsink on cards.

@chrisdelvalleisgreat If you're thinking about the controling of the game, you're right, but the graphics are just bad on the video because of the graphics card I had. The frame rate on consoles is always stable, they wouldn't make a game that would lag there.

For example in ps3. Ps3 video card its a geforce 7900 (almost the same as this) and it plays crysis 2 with good graphics and a goof framerate.

Same as here.... Thinking that ps3 version looks in medium atleast has 30 fps... And the ps3 processor isnt good at all becuase its a cell procesor... And really its no better than a quad core...

Same in xbox 360 but xbox 360 has a better gpu and CORES!

@OpenGLSecond No need, I've got a new graphics card. It isn't the graphics card that runs the programs slowly, it's the Processor. I've got an Intel Pentium 4 3.00 GHz which is only a single core processor. That is why I some things are very laggy.

@nargarothfreak666 it is. First thing, processor has its part in graphics, u can see that when recording with fraps. When recording, your fps drops, and fraps drains CPU POWER. So, cpu HAS its part in graphcis. Plus, graphics card only rendersgraphics , cpu must load all thsoe textures, ligthning, shaders, it must calculate everything, so graphics card without cpu just can't go.

A Cpu dont Load things your Memory dos that

a cpu is onley a Processor that let you se how fast your pc is. BUT if you have not enough DDR memory your pc works slow. if you Have a 8 Core CPU you have to get atleast 12 to 16 GB DDR3 Memory in you pc otherwise it runs to slow. So in short a CPU is not the most importent thing in your pc it is DDR memory. look for it on the internet what i tell you. You will find the same story in on forums and stuff.

So, still my comment stands ask any computer/tech pro to answer u as i see u don't believe me. Or type into youtube pentium 4 vs. dual core there is GIGANT difference. why? pentium 4 loads things MUCH slower, and forcing card to wait for shaders and physics to be loaded results in low fps -.-

off corse a Dual core is faster. but still that is not the main thing about a pc. if you dont have enough memory in your pc than your pc runs slower than if you got enough memory. that is normal. and so your CPU has nothing to do with it. ookey it is importend but not the impotant thing in your pc.

i set my ass creed at 1280 x 720 , all high exept the shadows ... but it may depend somewhat on the procesor, besides, u dont need high fps on thsi game. so enjoy it at a bigger quality..

My computer is'nt too good, i have the pentium(R) D CPU 3.00GHz, with only one gig of ram. are you sure it isn't slow because of the screen capturing?

I think people underestimate the power of the 8500GT. I play this game on my overclocked 8500GT sonic @ 1280x1024 maxed out in dx9 mode (No AA) and I get 30-40 fps.

It's your heat level or a setting you have up on windows vista. I had one on my pc and it still shuts down but that is becuase it is a slimline. Building a new pc soon. You shouldn't have any problem unless your PSU sucks and can't handle your system specs so it overheats.

U have to keep in mind that Fraps being a memory hog will cut your frame rate down overall. However, usually that is in high combat environments. Your fraps is sayin 30 fps which is still shit but better than 20. Find it funny a non online game would run that slow.

My goodness ECXVegetto. You urgently need a processor and RAM upgrade! You've got a pretty nice graphics card but sheesh. With only 1GB of RAM, your card alone is going to suck up over half of that and even more will be eaten in trying to run your applications and operating system. Kick that RAM up to at least 2 or 3 GB. Also I recommend getting yourself something from the Core 2 series processor from Intel.
