  • I knew him at OWH junior high, when he was Tony Campos and Tony Fields and involved in school plays, musicals, and gymnastics. Generous, talented. He played Fagan in 'Oliver' the year he graduated, did much of the choreography for the thing, and was good to everyone. When I'd failed to master it by the time he graduated, he left me his aerial cartwheel in this kind of printed 'will' the 9th graders did as they moved on to HS. I'm glad he lived such a good life, and sorry it ended so soon.

  • I will never forget this man. I was such a little ballerina, taught by a prima ballerina .. Mz Snyder at the Davis Art Center. Tony came in and had worked it where he and his dancers would have the building two and a half days a week. We were encouraged to check his style out. .. Later he snatched me up and worked me hard but taught me the lessons I needed in order to be able to teach others, choreograph routines etc. and make alittle extra cash doing so while my raising my two daughters alone.

  • Tony was a great dancer! Tony always had a smile on his face.He seemed like a real sweetheart!R.I.P. Tony!

  • @enochnu1 It's on VHS on Amazon

  • this vid just shows how differant some leather and i simple makeup job and great acting can make a person look entirely different. R.I.P. tony (Sammi)

  • This guy didn't get any credit for the movie "Trick Or Treat" under the character "Sammi Curr." It was actually his movie. Instead Gene Simmons and Ozzy Osbourne landed on the cover of the dvd when those two were only in the movie for under a minute.

  • @monsterviolence Tony's name is in both the beginning and ending credits.

  • @HRVDNT, but not on the cover of the movie which is the most important part. Many people [that never watched the movie all the way through] actually thought Ozzy or Simmons were the diabolique guitarist.

  • Wow, he was your brother? I had such a huge crush on him when he was on Solid Gold and I've still loved him all this time. Was very saddened years ago to learn of his death. he had such a gorgeous smile! What was he like?

  • I was Sammi Curr for Halloween back in 86 or 87 and went to the Exotic Erotic Ball. Best Halloween ever!

  • SAMMI CURR RIP

  • @skot66

who is Sammy Curr? i thought his name would be Tony Fields

  • AIDS has killed so many people.....RIP tony

  • He kicked ass in Trick or Treat. SAMMI CURR FTW!

  • HE WAS STRAIGHT!!!

  • @charisfulone No, I think he was gay. He starred in Trick Or Treat '86. He developed AIDS related cancer at 36 some time in the mid 90s I think

  • @ritter89 Just because some dies of aids doesn't mean thir gay.A person who had sex with a monkey started aids cause they they found vacscen for it from a dna from a mnkey in 2008 to slow it down when in hiv. I learn animals can get aids so are they gay?

  • What a cutie! He was so sweet.

  • WOW, thanks so much for posting this, I have wanted to hear him speak. I loved him on Sold gold and I found myself researching last year and wanted to know more about him and I fould this tonite. Incredible, but hoping to see more of the his speach. RIP Tony

  • he was sammi curr in "trick or treat"?

  • yes, he was

  • @chabomorphosis Yes he was :)

  • Tony was my first "realized" crush. I was so excited when I ran into him in WeHo. He was actually very nice to me - for me it was like meeting the President, or the Pope - someone of that celebrity. I was (and still am) hurt by his death. Seems like a little piece of me went with him. RIP Tony, you are missed!

  • wow he was so young when he died.

  • Tony Fields was my idol, and i miss him so very much........it was such a loss when he passed away......

  • Whoa! Total hottie! :)

  • not any more, unfortunately. Paul didn't think much of him when he worked with him one day. They still have an annual "Tony Fields Day" at the high school here.
