  • Paul Anthony Romero your music has had a deep impact on my life. You truely capture feeling in everything you make. And especially is the Heroes series. I true feel the passion and emotion thats presented. And after a long hard battle the music that plays makes me feel like I truely have vanquished evil and saved everyone. And not to mention you r story of how you started is remarkable! Thank you Paul, Thank you for giving me(everyone) your beautiful music and not letting your talent go! :)

  • @TheLordShigorat

I don't know I've never played it but Heroes 2 and Heroes 3 are both definitely older so... it's most probably where the song originate from. ;)

    Celtic inspiration?

It's nice... I wish hear it with an Bag pipe Band :)

  • just tell me where do you get the inspiration from

  • Absolutely marvellous work, from the man himself.

Your work really set the bar for PC soundtracks, fantastic music in each iteration of the franchise.

Even if I'm not as fond of the new Heroes games, I know you and Rob King will deliver a music experience to remember.

  • This one is really marvellous! Damn, I wanna challenge myself and play this by ear! :)

Thank you for that perfect piece of art and performance :)

  • @hitmanxmk I AGREE

  • Thank you for your great and brilliant work.

  • Thanks for the feedback everyone! This video was created for the executives at Ubisoft. Video Games Live asked me to create a HEROES OF MIGHT AND MAGIC medley for the Paris Video Games live concert in December. I put together this medley at my home in Los Angeles and showed Ubisoft the arrangement on the piano before I started to orchestrate the medley. If you watch the live video from the Paris Video Games Live you will hear the orchestrated version with full orchestra and video montage.

  • @PAULanthonyROMERO

Thanks for the music, the emotions...for everything. You are a great musician...We all adore your work!

  • @GiSpil thank you so much G. HMM VI is one of my favorite scores and I hope you like it when it comes out soon. I am so nervous!!!

    par

  • @PAULanthonyROMERO

I'm eager to see if the score includes themes from the first five installments. :)

  • @PAULanthonyROMERO

Don't worry, seriously. All we heard until now was nothing short from genious!

  • @PAULanthonyROMERO You are my master, Paul!!!!

  • @Pandrodorr thank you so much! I appreciate all your great comments and support!

    paul

  • @PAULanthonyROMERO You have unusual talent, my friend. This sound is really amazing.

  • Oh almost the same was played at Paris for the Heroes 1-5 melodies. Hmm, may be some days earlier in this video post the Heoes VI Haven theme came too?

  • need sheet now!

  • @MociutesIIIdraugas

    Ask Paul. ;)

  • that's exactly same as the one played on VGL 2010!

  • Hi Sim and Paul. It would be very nice if Paul could play other pieces of Heroes II, as they are in my opinion, and in many others, the best ones.

I play some piano and I currently work on HoMM2 snowy plains theme, and it sounds fantastic. It's too early to make a recording but I will do one. I also love the intro theme (midi version), the computer turn theme, the barbarian, and almost all the land theme (swamp, desert, grass...).

  • Sound brilliant!

  • Thank god this is back. Paul took this down for some reason. I'm glad I can hear it again.

  • @LightVSDarkness64 LOL thanks for the compliment. I had to take it down because this was the the first draft of the HMM medley arrangement I had created for the Paris Video Games Live 2010 concert last week at the Palais de Congres. I wanted to orchestrate the medley and let it premiere first so that it would be more of a surprise. But now it's ok since the Paris premiere is over and Gentlegeek has put the video up on Youtube! Now I will try and do a HEROES III medley for the future!

  • @PAULanthonyROMERO

I'm sure we all would love for that to happen. Your music is so good, you don't even need to write anything new, you could just to a live performance of any of your music and we'd all watch. Is it true you're doing the music for Heroes VI? It just won't be the same without your flawless soundtrack.

  • @PAULanthonyROMERO

Hello Paul, I have a question: do You have the sheet music for this piece? I would really love to learn it.

Thanks in advance and I hope You will be composing music for Heroes VI too.

  • This songs just bring up so many sweet nostalgic moments.

So I thank you for that.

I want to hear you play live =) and thx for this awsome upload
