@hamiltonrrw Thanks! This was for the recital when I had not prepared enough. Now I do better. This past weekend I went to MMTA annual competition and got a 2nd prize trophy playing this piece and Beethoven's Sonata Pathetique 1st movement :-)

No, my parents are from Mainland China. I guess my dad's family spelled the last name based on their dialect. My mom's Chen, she has the original Chinese spelling :) Thank you for watching!

Haa. I have heard this piece several times. It is one of my favourites. You play it very well. You have all the highs and the lows. Yes, the moods are all there and expressively played. What a wonderful, tight technique you have at this age. How old are you exactly? Be encouraged you have great potential!!!

Well dear Xuan, to the very fastidious ear there may have been some hitches and a rough beginning, but I heard none of that. For one your age it was a stupendous performance. Few that I know of would be able to equal or better it. Excellent. Reach for the stars pretty girl.
