hijab is very nice when you need to get an exam and you didn't learn nothing(lots of materials could fit under a hijab)...I am a man but I wanna wear a hijab at the exam dayI am a religios gay.. ..pls, at the exam day, i wanna come with hijab+coat+jacket...and nobody have the right to check me out this is my religion(my own) ...Also I wanna come to school naked any day i like(this is my religion).I wanna go to a mosk naked(will thei accept my freedom of thinking)?...

I support the Ban of Hijab, because it supports the opression of women, and Hijab/Burqa stuff look ugly on women as well. We are not Arabs, but Meditterneans.

Wearing modern clothes are good for a society because it will give people a more progressive mindset. Hijab = Opresssion Of The Women. Bottom Line.

A head scarf is nothing more than a chastity belt worn on the head. The head scarf, the hajib, the burka, a woman's word being worth half of a man's word, stoning women for suspicion of adultery, and it being legal to beat your wife, are all forms of male chauvinism, and not of God. Maybe 1600 years ago, these things were necessary for safety, but I doubt it. Male chauvinism is everywhere, and needs to stop. islam is not going to win.

Loaded comment aside. 1st I didn't give you a thumbs down. I agree that Chauvinism is all too prevalent toward female. IMO a Ban on headscarfs is as bad as forcing women to wear them .The answer is freedom to do what they want, religious, social, political freedoms to choose ,just like men .

Okay, well-said. I do have a challenge for muslim women though. For one day, in countries where they can do it, take off the head scarf, burka, or hajib. Take it off for one day. If anyone of them feels uncomfortable, then there is a problem, and they need to examine why they are uncomfortable. Take the challenge.

I know that many, or at least some women who cover their bodies, and/or face have got some psychological problems. If I covered like them, I know all that would happen would be me complaining of being to hot. I wonder if they can take these things off, and not hardly notice it. i wear a headscarf and i wasnt forced into it. i do agree that the headscarf should not be imposed on anyone but the rest, having studied it i disagree with, sorry. the stoning of women for committing adultery is also applicable to a man, it takes 2 to commit adultery and beating your wife has not been mentioned in the Qur'an, it has been misinterpreted. if you want more details, i will send you a personal message as it too long to send through here.

Have you seen the Mosque videos (the return). Theyre teaching Wahabi islam right in London, on the sly, of course. She says very plainly, "people who leave islam, we kill them." I'll find the correct video name for you. It's looking to me like even you better wake up and see what's going on, because extremist muslims are crazy, and will kill you too, for some stupid reason. If you can wear your scarf, then I can wear a big fat cross on my chest. I pray 6 times a day, wherever I am, so watch out.

About burkas and headscarves. Yes, headscarves must be worn in Islam. But if you compare Muslim countries, Turkey will be the last on that list. And you wont see burkas in Turkey because burkas is not in Koran. Its part of Arab culture and we are not Arabs.

If you attempt to harm anyone even animals then ure not technicaly following islam . Bieng a muslim means submitting to God and having mercy on his creatures. No. I read the qu'ran about 14 years ago, while on my spiritual quest. The qu'ran is a very beautiful poetry book, with instructions on how to discipline women. Jesus Christ is real. I've been in the same room with Him twice, that I know of. I saw His sandals. They have straps that wrap around the ankles. I saw them. This is His world. I wish you peace, and love in your life, and in your heart. Let us live together in love, and peace.

People should be allowed to wear the headscarf, but they should not be forced to wear it, nor should they be forbidden by the government to not wear it. (Obviously, this means that the face has to be visible at appropriate times et al.)
