No, it was not Freddie that played this version. It was recorded in 1995 or 1996 if I don't remeber it wrong! :)

Actually it came out in 1986 too. It wasn't on the original album, but it was released as a bonus track on a cd later that year. You're still right though about Freddie not playing it. Brian performed this on the piano.

No one can argue the humanity whom the QWeen have ever portray. Loyalty ,friendship between the four of them. I think this is less well defined on the lyrics,but the respect in between them on & off stage as I seen on videos it is very difficult not to be noticed. Very very legendary indeed. Lots of great photos of Freddie. I enjoyed them all, I put on my favs. Freddie was one special person with a great voice and He was a ball of energy. I liked how he always included the audience in his songs. He always thanked his fans.

This is one of the very few times I would have wanted to be 60 instead of 36 and have lived in England. Freddie was a very charismatic, polemic and passionate man but also a wonderful human being.  In spite of his heavy life he had something special most of us noticed (I am sure about it). He is going to be missed for many many years more.
