  • I have a set of these scanners. I love the way they look. Mine came with a remote controller to switch modes. Nice set up.

  • VERY NICE!

  • @321camsdj No, you can't mix color and gobo with Comscans. Each gobo has only one color. They are in the same wheel. In other words there is only one DMX channel for the gobo and no DMX channel (and of course no wheel) for the color. ADJ X-Scan and X-Scan Plus have separate gobo and color wheels, so you can mix those together with them. But NOT with the Comscans.

  • Helo I have a small question which is the best scanner between: the microscan led or the comscan led? Thank you

  • @TheValentinlouis I have never tried Microscans but I have watched demo videos of them. It seems that they are very similar to Comscans but I would still say that Comscans are a bit better because:

    - The connectors are on back, not on the bottom (= the fixture can stand on the ground or on the table)

    - There is a digital user interface, so you don't have to mess with the dip switches.

    - There is a protector plate in each unit that protects the mirror during the transport .

  • @juzajuza OK but otherwise question power it is the meme thing but his two mark are concurence my his on that the comscan and indeed for quite hisyoung option

Thank you for your assistant :) I need to think a bit :)

  • How did you programe them?

  • @DJJASONPRODUCER I did these programs with Freestyler DMX-controller. But, you can use any DMX 512 based controller. The fixtures are fully DMX 512 compatible. The other alternative is to use the ADJ's own UC3-controller that has preset programs for these scans and many other ADJ fixtures.

  • @juzajuza I have the dj dmx by eleminator lighting but idk where to start it really is something hard to learn.

  • @DJJASONPRODUCER I have never used that particular controller but it looks pretty basic one that has many clones produced by many manufacturers. I found the manual for it on Eliminator Lightning's website in PDF-format. Check the manual page 7 for programming instructions. Very roughly the basic idea is that you record the fixture positions for every page of your show and then you chase the pages thru in the playback mode. You will control the speed of your show with fade and speed sliders.

  • @juzajuza Oh so its like taking pictures and then playing them together to make a movie huh i get you ok all give it a try

  • @DJJASONPRODUCER Yes, that is a very good comparison! :) Good luck with your first show!

  • I like! Thinking about getting 2 of these to compliment my Vizi Spot LEDs. Great video.
