While I agree the stickers were a mistake, I have to say my greatest complaint is the INCREDIBLY wimpy freedom of motion in the knees. My 10-year-old RX-79[G] can bend its knees farther. I have High Grades with better mobility. I heard the MG kit got that fixed, but the Katoki disappointed in that respect.

That said, I guess it never bends its knees in the novels or OVA.

Yea...bending knees are overrated anyway haha. I'd take surface detail/proper proportions over increased frame mobility but that's just me :)

@Jameson171 While that's true, having mobility allows you to show off more of the detail, and some mobile suits' signature poses require it. For example, GM Sniper can't pose, looking down the sights, on its knees.

was wondering if ya could help me out man, Im thinking of making a custom color scheme but without an airbrush im stuck atm and didnt get one for xmas.

Im trying to get a color similar to the thruster pack or at least a nu gundam black but Im haveing trouble figuring what colors to use to make them, Im using tamiya paints.

Im also haveing a problem where the paint is getting sticky and instead of going on flat it has lines through it. thanks for any help man

I don't know anything about this gundam, so you could have shown and explained the red parts that are apparently underneath some of the outer frame.

you're right. but at the time, i was afraid of transforming it because i didn't want to scratch up the paint and decals. but to answer your question, the red parts represent the power of the "psycho frame" which is supposed to intensify whatever newtype powers the person has.  maybe one of these days, i'll transform it very very carefully :)

NT-D Mode

The Newtype Destroy mode is a unique feature of both the Sinanju and Unicorn Gundam which enables the suit to override any type of funnel controlled weaponry and turn it against its owner. Thus the name "Newtype-Destroy" since it basically cripples the main abilities of Newtype suits which is to control funnels.

Note although the Sinanju is fitted with the NT-D system, Full Frontal cannot seem to activate the system, either due to the incomplete phase of the system, or his abilities

"destroy mode" seems almost completely useless on the Sinanju anyway. what is it going to use it on? none of the federation suits at that time used funnels, only the Kshatriya.

NT-D mode function is not only to cripple Funnels and bits, but it appears that it increases the machine's total output by 200% once activated. Most notably an increase in movement speed, another function of the NT-D system is to allow the Psyco Frame to be controlled using the mind alone.

However there is a hitch. At the moment, in the novel not even Full Frontal or Barnage Lynx knows how to activate it. The system automatically turns on whenever the machine senses a Newtype Machine.

And since the Unicorn and Sinanju are both Newtype mobile suits, the system will activate...and well you get the idea, we'll have a grand battle between the two system (I do believe they took inspiration from the ZERO system in Gundam Wing e.g. Wing Zero vs Epyon overriding due to the inability of the ZERO system to predict each other's moves).

Painting is up to the modeller. I hate shiny plastic so I paint :). For tools, an exacto knife or nipper is essential(takes the part off the tree) and have some sanding material to take off the rest of the tree from the part. If this is your first model ever, maybe u should practice with the HG or HGUC line, but if you know something about models, Bandai really makes it hard to mess up lol
