I've enjoyed your videos. Lots of dedication. I used to use a spring tensioner for the pulley. It was from Clark's Corvair parts. Don't know if they still offfer them.

i run dayco belts top cogs on all my vairs stock pullys never lost one..

I see the problem in the pulleys. Aluminum and chrome are notorious for belt throwing.
