@dastan666 nope.. I got this cam too and it does 1080i "only" - read the specs at the sony site.. (enough for me btw - I'm also fine with my two DSLRs with 12 and 6 megapixels - you can't beat the eye's physics anyway, eg. distance from beholder in relation to the image diameter)

@zoubirT yep, it does have sony's nightshot. IR filter can be switched off and built in IR lamp can be turned on.

Range in total darkness: about 3 meters/10 feet. - more if you use additional IR light sources of course..
