@crazyviolent69 I take it you don't own an AWD yourself. Yanking the handbrake won't do anything on an AWD car unless you push in the clutch all the way first. Plus you mentioned counter steering, but in an AWD car you want to keep the front wheels pointed straight for as long as possible and control your drift through the throttle and a bit of steering, and only counter steer when you are at the end of the corner. Totally different technique than a RWD car.
no its not...any real drift enthusiast can tell you that judging by the entry and exit angle alone that it's still an awd car. AWD's are driftable...they just take more balls to do it
@flinchey yes those points are true, but consider this.
understeer is cornering LESS than your steering angle, yes?
oversteer is cornering MORE than your steering angle, yes?
so what do you see happening here though? he is corning less than his actually steering angle. its an understeered drift, saying that is contradictory, but true.
ebrake "drifting" works in all cars even FWD but you have the least amount of control and lose a lot of momentum doing so. The fastest and best way (yet scariest) way to drift an AWD vehicle is double-clutch, heel-toe drop into 2nd gear as you're entering the turn, and just before you hit the apex FLOOR the accelerator so that the awd system doesn't kick in. You're entry and exit angles will not be as extreme and you won't need as much countersteer but its possible and scary as hell

@hugebassfishing look at the "understeer" while drifting... its an awd evo...
nleboe 2 years ago
@nleboe how the FUCK can you understeer while drifting, the tail has kicked out hence oversteer?
flinchey 1 year ago
@flinchey LOOK AT THE FUCKING FRONT TIRES CUNT
nleboe 1 year ago
@nleboe
*looks at the tires*
HOLY SHIT IT LOOKS LIKE HE'S COUNTERSTEERING SLIGHTLY
understeer would be the nose of the car wanting to point to the outside edge of the track, due to traction
oversteer is the nose pointing towards the inside of the track
this... doesn't look like either of the above??

@nleboe personally, it looks like his back end is swinging out beyond his front end (hence the countersteering) ?
if it was understeering in the drift, wouldn't he have to do the opposite of 'regular' countersteering, to maintain a drift?
flinchey 1 year ago
@flinchey it is a paradox of drifting lol, we both have very valid points.
nleboe 1 year ago
@nleboe f*ck it, it's a drift! lol.

@flinchey Less confusing for people if you use the correct term "Power Sliding"

is there any info on that specific evo? i plan to build my own 4wd evo drift car. any info on that car will help alot thanks
pakerska 3 years ago
there's no such thing as a 4wd evo...you mean AWD...they're two different terms for two separate systems.

can anyone tell me how to drift an AWD??
jviane 3 years ago
hand brake, or steer left then quickly right
crazyviolent69 3 years ago
will that work with AWD?
i though handbrake only works with RWD?

"and just before you hit the apex FLOOR the accelerator so that the awd system doesn't kick in"
Lol most awd don't kick in....
hence the term "All-wheel Drive".....
Its drives all the wheels all the time...
Unlike part-time 4-wheel drive....
