He's using the suitcase armor though, which is much much weaker than his regular armor is. Only half as powerful, half as durable, can't fly nearly as fast and it's only weapons are the hand rays. He didn't really have alot of options to take him down.

@Spyker54 Obviously not, but you're missing the implication. Fold down means portability. Portability means Tony Stark wouldn't have made it too heavy to carry. It's also thinner and less durable than the regular version. That and also consider that fact that steel medieval plate armor didn't cause the wearer didn't cause the wearer to crumple into a bloody heap, and Iron Man suits are made of an even lighter alloy.

Marvel characters are FIT. Tony Stark must have one hell of a deadlift.

I'm guessing that suit isn't light and it wont support its own weight until its powered up. So he had to lift that shit off the ground to get suited up.

Pepper Pots has a heck of a throwing arm as well. Getting that half ton shit to fly like that.

Either that or Stark has found an alloy thats tougher than titanium and lighter than a feather.

So yeah, Pep has one heck of a throwing arm. he said how could Tony walk around, as seen in the old days, with his suit in an attache case, it'd be near impossible to walk around with something that heavy.

@erzan - I don't know if this suit weighs several tons, they carried it in in a suitcase and Pepper threw it to Tony with little difficulty. It can't be that heavy. Not to mention Whiplash has some kind of rack attached to his power drive that goes around his arms and legs. It might have actuators that augment his strength (similar to how the Iron Man suit augments Tony's strength).

Worst Ironman movie ever. This and the end are the ONLY fighting scenes with any bad guys in the movie. Ironman barely connects with the villain like other superhero movies (Batman and Joker, Superman and Lex, Spiderman and Green Goblin etc).
