I've got a problem with first decade too, but is't generals, and zero hour. when i play the game it all works only the background of the menu isn't working as it should be with the attacks of the gla etc. and when i play a mission or whatshowever the screen turns black after i had made a large base or a large army.. I have win7.. anyone ideas?

Generals still comes up with an error "Please insert dvd rom" even though the rom is in the drive and works for RA2 and Yuri. Very odd

yuris revenge is the same thign but only for the soviet campaign, i can play the ally campain no problem all the way through. ive gotten red alert 1 to work, the others just gave me that CD-ROM error, its not the correct one insert and click OK, ya know that damn thing. Ok if you can help its appreciated very much so, if not then your reply is very much appreciated. another note, i cant get into my control panel to install/uninstall, tho i can still do both for most programs through another

Red alert 2, a few minutes into the opening of the ally campaign everything just stops, ive got the patches and ive tried changing the compatability to windows 98/me, im useing windows xp, cant find the "administrator" compatability setting or any security tab in the properties window of the .exe files. opening movie runs but when the gameplay begins before i get battle control it just freezes, on the soviet campaign it goes through the first mission and a few minutes into the second it stops

Can somebody tell me if they got this problem:

As i play multiplayer (network), me vs 7 Easy Computers,

As US - Laser specialized, when i built a wall of 10-15 laserturrets, the game got funny?, so when i move too see what my lasers are shooting at, the screen (not the commander bar, maps or in-game menu), gets black.......

I dont have a crappy PC, so that is not the case...

hey I got all the cd keys and everything but when i go to actually hit install it gets to where it starts installing Tiberuis sun and then an error comes up and says that the data couldn't be transfored or something like that.

I had that. But i fixed it... THE EASY WAY. If you are using Windows Vista, just right-click on a TFD link and select "Run as Administrator" then you fixed your problem FOREVER.

if it doesn't say exe after it jus look for ra2 application and ra2md application and when u right click on them both it should say somewhere that it is an exe file type. if u do this it should work it worked for me

look i went to C:/Program Files / then i cant find EA Games although i got another file called westwood and in there there are all the ra2 files but there is no ra2.exe or ra2MD.exe
