Love it! If only I had a voice like that when I was your age (or now even) why, I could (dare I say it?) RULE THE WORLD!!! Thanks for sharing your talent with us and if you are open to requests, I love anything from Judy Garland or Billie Holliday... ;-)
That makes me so terribly happy, I could simply melt! My favorites are Judy Garland, Dinah Shore, and Helen Forrest at the moment. What would you like to hear?
Hmm... Well, how about "My Man?" I just had the privilege of seeing a show in the New Amsterdam theatre where Ziegfeld had his Follies and Fanny Brice had her triumphs, including that great and wonderful song. Since Billie Holliday sang that too, your request gave me the idea. How would you like that?
I would like that very much! I love Fanny Brice, too! I'll bet it was a great experience to be in the same theatre as such legends! Which show did you see there?
I saw Mary Poppins, which was sadly disappointing. It took a lovely dream and turned it into a bad "trip." However, when I walked in and saw pictures of Will Rogers, Eddie Cantor, Fanny Brice, and Co., I knew I was in the right place!
Even if it didn't have the beautiful history, it has a lovely old charm to it which kept me going even when the night terrors were at play on stage!
Night terrors?!! Ouch! LOL! Sorry to hear about your "bad trip". Well, I'm glad to know that it wasn't a total waste for you. Maybe someday it will be you up on that stage... ? :-)
Very nice, very relaxed and at ease, tenderly felt.
If you have the chance after high school, if you don't already do, get into music classes. Even if you have another career in mind, so that you can grow in your natural musical talent.
You can always compose, arrange, and/or perform. You can learn piano, guitar, violin or flute, whatever you wish, but do pick up an instrument.
Voicewise, even if you go for voice lessons, stay true to your natural sensibility and ability.
Thank you, that's very sound advice. Fortunately, it is also advice which I'm following currently, since I'm taking voice lessons and planning to study music in college.
I'm so inexpressibly pleased that you enjoyed the video!
You have a very "broadway musical" voice. I wouldn't pay attention to the hate comments. You have a voice very similar to Grace Kelly. Keep singing!

Thank you so much for listening, and for leaving me those kind words!
I do hope you'll subscribe and continue to listen. I admire Grace greatly, and the comparison is taken with immense pride and gratitude!

Oooh- it may too presumptuous even to dream :-)

Sometimes it's fun to dream! And you never know...
