I think if you're getting into Dreamcast underrated games you might be able to get away with post the entire catalog haha! (I found that even the Genesis games I liked are often not so well known)
@sayastra Yeah there are tons of unknown or forgotten DC games, but some of them have gotten a lot of attention in recent years. Games like Shenmue, Jet Set Radio, Marvel vs Capcom 2, and a number of others have gotten some mainstream press recently. Even with the DC there are some games that got a fair amount of attention. At least now. The DC seems to be more popular now than it was when it was still alive.
@teh2Dgamer very true. but years of playing street fighter on the snes spoiled me :X though i did spend several years playing fighting games in actual arcades.. those were the days man!
The Dreamcast and SNK went hand in hand back in the day as SNK began to move away from console hardware production. In many ways they shared more than a few aspects together.
Both the good...
With the Dreamcast being incredibly easy to program for, it would have better quality ports of SNK's titles even over the PS2 and X-Box.
And the bad...
Sega discontinued the Dreamcast in March of 2001 and the original SNK would close later that year. A new age had come.
Heh , just when we were talking about last blade! Well anyway , it's pretty nice. Is there some kind of convertor from Dreamcast controller to PC? I was planning on buying a Dreamcast but i think that i'd rather waste my money in AC : B and Crysis 2.
Nice! It's probably underhyped more then underrated. It sucks when sucky games get tons of hype and get popular but good games get brushed under the carpet because no one heard of them.
@EPICsliceOFcake I just decided to show a lot of them off in my vids for the time being. I'll eventually move on though. It was prompted by a discussion I had on some forums I frequent. Don't worry, I'll move on shortly.
First fighting game I ever played lol.
Dad brought it back from japan on this Neo-Geo PC Game disc. I just love the style of this game

I wish they would re-release this game for a system I own. Why don't they put it on the Wii Virtual Console or XBLA or something? I wanna play it!

I used to have this and hated what they did to the blood.

@intensetional Well, the arcade purists will tell you to get an arcade stick, but I'm a D-pad player myself.

Last Blade series is truly an underrated gem. I think it actually bests it's brother, Samurai Shodown, in certain aspects.

I wish I had this for Dreamcast. I played it on someone's PC using a gamepad and GameTap a few years ago and had a blast.
I remember it having less music, though. Maybe it's just the first one?

Fun Fact: Did you know that the Character Designer for the first Last Blade was Daisuke Iwashitari, the creator of the Guilty Gear Universe.
