@monokhem So, even if he was bringing up a strong argument in support of his point of view, I don't think that one can easily differentiate the two in this video, and say that the audience applauded the argument rather than the opinion. If one contrasts an equivalent strength of argument and pov, but one which is contrary to this position, for example, then we can see whether the audience is as unbiased as, if I'm correct, you appear to suggest.

It depends on how you define assume, I've only seen a number of episodes [of this show], and of those I only recall segments, but from what I recall, a conservative making a civil and incisive argument at best got crickets, where a similar argument from a democrat/liberal got cheers and applause. GOD it feels good to hear people speak out about Palin. It gives me hope that there are enough smart people left in this country.
