So I think that the mac is better for the price.

The thing with the top end Mac's is they are more geared towards workstations rather than gaming rigs. Despite of what people say, Mac Pros' are very versatile when it comes to customising. Ive currently just upgraded to a Quadro FX 5800 (4Gb), which apple say is not compatible with the mobo, but so far (in about a month and a half) ive not had a single kernel panic or any display problems. On top of that, I upgraded the two processors to the new Nehalem Xeon's. All without paying out my arse.

Macs ARE more expensive but you get what you py for m8. Dells are notoriously shit and i wouldnt touch one with a barge pole. I would put money on the fact that i could custom build the same rig as the dell with far superior cooling and overall better parts for around 3/4ers of the price of the dell.

@vajksziget7a windows PC and mac r 2 different markets for different people ,yes i can buy a prebuilt Pc from a uk website for £2777 and itll have a 4 core sandybridge processor 8gb of ram and DUAL 6950 AMD cards and watercooling and a very nice looking case etc and its a grand cheaper than the equivelent mac pro ,but thats for people who r into modding and getting inside of the system , apples makes machines marketed for people that just want a system they can use str8 away

The thing with the top end Mac's is they are more geared towards workstations rather than gaming rigs. Despite of what people say, Mac Pros' are very versatile when it comes to customising. Ive currently just upgraded to a Quadro FX 5800 (4Gb), which apple say is not compatible with the mobo, but so far (in about a month and a half) ive not had a single kernel panic or any display problems. On top of that, I upgraded the two processors to the new Nehalem Xeon's. All without paying out my arse.

Macs ARE more expensive but you get what you py for m8. Dells are notoriously shit and i wouldnt touch one with a barge pole. I would put money on the fact that i could custom build the same rig as the dell with far superior cooling and overall better parts for around 3/4ers of the price of the dell.
I would also rather pay the extra to get the mac than have the shitty dell, if your guna hate on mac at least build your own fucking rig.

I DONT THINK U quite get it , this isnt a apple dissing video , its a mac fanboy dissing video, and good luck finding the componants cheap enough to build a 8 core system with 32gigs of ram and a 5600fx
