@panjabiwarrior My ancestors were Rathore Rajputs in Punjab, they were hindu before. Many rajputs in Punjab felt their honour was lost due their defeat in Rule against the Mughals. Now when the Sikh Guru's were in war some Rajputs joined the 10th Guru's army and ultimately became Sikhs. Now were they forced maybe in Political and Religous reasons..But they kept their faith and decided to become Siks...Did the Guru's force them I dont think so cause the 10th Guru also had non-sikhs in his army.

Now when the Sikh Guru's were in war some Rajputs joined the 10th Guru's army and ultimately became Sikhs. Now were they forced maybe in Political and Religous reasons..But they kept their faith and decided to become Siks...Did the Guru's force them I dont think so cause the 10th Guru also had non-sikhs in his army.
