Your right man . I'm a SCREAMO vocalist for a band and everyone in my school calls it devil worship and not all of it is ..... Usually it's black metal that has a lot of devil worshiping in it. But I love god I grew up a Catholic and I pray every night and morning .

When it comes to Metalcore, Screamo & Hardcore some is atheist amd some is Christian. But I'm not aware of a single satanic band from that area of music.

Look at all the great screamo bands that are Christians. Personally, I'm an atheist and usually don't care for Christian music, but bands like The Chariot or The Devil Wears Prada are great. They are screamo bands, and also Christians. I'm pretty sure Bring Me The Horizon are Christians too.

hey.. I agree with you. Some people exaggerate things. they think almost everything is Satanic just because it seems like it and that when we listen to these type of music, our intentions are pure and all that but unconsciously, we become bad because of listening to these songs. The devil has his ways of deceiving us. Prodding our weaknesses and what we like. its like putting poison in our favorite food. we might like how it appears but we dont know what it tastes like until we eat it.

You are exactly right about this topic. Me and a couple of my friends sometimes hear the same "devil music" crap from people because of the music we listen to. Like the devil wears prada, for today, as I lay dying, and stuff, they don't even realize, this is all christian music. They are often the hypocrites, calling my music bad, but listening to some rap with lyrics about shooting people and selling drugs and stuff.

Definately and I agree with what yous aid entirely about people calling the music bad and then listening to far worse. When I got the crap, I challenged the people to read or listen to the lyrics. Some backed off and left me alone and then there are others who still bring that crap up and refuse to acknowledge anything from the lyrics.

i cant speak for u and other christians cause im agnostic but NO!!!...i listen to alot of screamo music.and metalcore..if someone told me eyes set to kill was satanic id bitch slap them in the face lol...even avenged sevenfold aint satanic...being gothic aint even satanic.....but even if they were?well im not religious so it dont matter....like i said..can speak for christians but imo it dont matter if something is satanic anyways.
