  • GOLD!

  • theres a place...my first favorite beatle song. I got a new one with each new album that came out.lol

  • Beatles weren't just musicans they were prophets !!!

  • THE BEATLES... simplemente los mejores

  • @kubaldarellano

    Me siento igualmente.

  • the best song no there s anhother.

  • One of the *very* best things they ever did!

  • The best prat of the 60's was all the fantastic bands

  • VIVA LOS BEATLES

  • My introduction to the Beatles..... young, open minded, full of fun....they impressed more than that on our generation... We were lucky to have them for a while.

  • Just bought this album on vinyl vintage for 25 bucks, so stoked

  • So great!

  • Although this is ok to listen to, it could be one of my least favorite Beatle songs, especially of those written by John - they weren't all perfect. :)

  • @SnapDLizard Wow, this this is one of my favorite songs off this album! (except for please please me)

  • @SnapDLizard

Actually, for pre-Beatlemania Beatles, this is pretty good.

  • @anonUK I feel that their first album is the best. Each song has a strong pronouncement as if it were an album predicated on the soaring immensity of Pearl Jam's 'Even Flow'.

Please please me by being pleased by 'Please Please Me', pretty please?

  • My cat sticks his middle claw up and says 'the world is treating him bad - IAMS Misery'

  • @scatmansmooth Is it a tabby? There all the bloody same - temprimental fecks like starkey. Rory Storm was awesome after he crossed the mersey and changed drummer.

  • @CalamityCameron STF up. You tory voting paper reading sheep scum. You only voted for them because they let John Halliday Reginald Christie hang quickly so you didn't have to recount the mess you stuck up barstewards made by hanging the perfectly innocent Timothy Evans three years previously.

Its beyond ALL reasonable doubt that Tim did NOT kill anyone yet his lifeline generation were all ended by a serial killer who finished them all off.

Still to this day the Royal Pardon did NOT quash it.

  • I forgot the song was from the album. So evocative of the time. Have been singing this at work for the last several months. So good to hear it. My brother gave away the album years ago.

  • This song is just perfect for coming back home.

  • I got the 1962 sore throat one take.

George Martin and that fickle classical tie.

    The rest is history....

  • You guys are fuckin ape shit nutsos.

  • Theres a place.......where dislikers go......when they dislike......the beatles......its called.......prison!

  • @chrisiscool8 No, they go to musical hell.

  • I have loved this since I was a nipper. Its a bit more grown up than Kylie.

  • nice pussy :-)

  • It`s all in the mind!

  • "And its my mind, and there's no time when I'm alone." The way they sing that just gets me every time. It's so good.

  • its impossible to hear a bad song of The Beatles

I just do not put more songs of them on my phone because it has no space

    BeatlesBrasil

  • epic beyond words

  • Why is the vocal so buried?

  • Please, please hold my hand!

  • @kmc56 i had a dream once where i got to hold John's hand <3

  • The whole album was recorded in 10 hours and was supposed to play like a Beatles concert, all the songs were part of their stage act apart from Misery which had only been written a few weeks before.

  • Fue Escrita por Lennon e interpretada por Lennon y Harrison.

Lennon menciono: There's a Place' fue mi intento de hacer algo Motown, algo de negros.

    Incluida como el numero 13

  • my place is my camp :) ♥♥♥♥♥♥ :D ♪♫♪♫

  • there's some trouble at 1.43

  • best ever

  • very good best

  • 4 people didn't know where that place was

  • This sounds like it was composed on 20 Forthlin Road...

  • i love all these old beatles songs--i always think of what i was doing back then--

and--i listened to what they were saying!

  • There songs are so simple but so ingenious!

  • this song is actually just two harmonies, no real melody.. isnt that awesome? yes it is

  • Love this song!

  • Like I LOVVEEEEEE onllllly themmmm ;D

  • <3

  • my fav song!!! :))))

  • The "B" side to "Twist and Shout" on my Tollie 45rpm. This song has helped me remember there is always a safe place to go when life may be crumbling around you.

  • for my birthday i want this album!

  • Beatles are life changing <3 : D

  • me too, and i am french :D

  • @shared191412 thanks although I cannot see my own comment on here :/ for some reason

  • this song touched me. not the inopropiate was, pardon my spelling

  • Love this song, just learned how to play it on guitar while singing last week. I love The Beatles, actually found something really interesting about them the other day. Search "Truth Contest" in Google and click the 1st result, then on the main page of the contest, open The Present and read the section about The Beatles. Every Beatles fan should read this.

  • sll time best

  • @blackbeltwezal

Same... He says that they're far too overrated and happy and that they don't really have any talent at all. I'm sincerely hoping that teachers still play 'Opposite day'!!

    BEATLES = BEST xx

  • One of their best songs with one of the least amount of views. We're the real Beatles Fans!!

  • Many music teachers like technical expertise and classical. To some, the Beatles are just a pop icon. I recall my music teacher in college said they were a commodity, nothing to get excited about. I beg to disagree!

  • 정말 좋네요

  • MrsBeatlesLover

Lady gaga and other nowadays "singers" are no music. mabye teenage pop idols

  • My music teacher isn't a Beatle fan...I was so confused.

  • Obviously, if you dislike a video why watch it?

    pretty stupid.

But you shouldnt dislike The Beatles.

Them Lady GaGa & Jimmy Fallon in my opinion are the best thing that has ever happened to this planet<3.

  • @ChillyKool11 i agree i am 14 and i cant get enough og the beatles and old music the walls in my room are covered with posters and other stuff from queen and the beatles and chuck berry and i also like new mysic but people like justin bieber and karty perry wont last long because music today is all fake you dont need to have talent these days and thoes people dont have talent they just suck

  • I'm in that place and won't be back.

  • okay i just want to say this because i see all these comments with justin bieber. well im 13 and im a fan of justin's but i also LOVE the beatles. its not a horrible thing to like both you know. i like old music like the beatles, the doors, the who,the byrds, and jimi hendrix but i also like justin bieber lady gaga taylor swift, and katy perry. theres nothing wrong with that. it just means you like different genres of music. thats a good thing.just saying :)

  • yeah

  • Epic!

  • The beatles rock!!!

    John was awesome

  • "Don't you know that it's so"

  • At :58 . The shift of high and low vocals between John and Paul "Don't you know that it's so" showed their genius at such an early age.

  • wow didnt know this one...love it!!

  • My cat likes this song

  • @Robotdrummerzzk haha your cat has a great taste!!:)

  • @Robotdrummerzzk

Eh, my cat is more of a "I Saw Her Standing There" kind of guy.

  • @Robotdrummerzzk LMFAO

  • @Robotdrummerzzk i actually laughed.

  • @Robotdrummerzzk i dont get it

  • @Robotdrummerzzk Ha tell you're cat it's my favorite. Not favortie cat, just favorite in general. ^__^

  • @Robotdrummerzzk Your cat has awesome taste =)

  • @Robotdrummerzzk Your cat is the best cat in the world!!

  • @Robotdrummerzzk ur cat rocks this used to be my favorite song when i first started listening to the beatles.

  • @Robotdrummerzzk Mine does too. The harmonica sounds a bit like a cat I think that's why

  • In my mind there's no sorrow,

Don't you know that its so,

    there'll be no sad tomorrow,

Don't you know that its so

  • Brilliance. Recorded on 2 track 'live'. Unheard of nowadays. Damn they were good.

  • 5 people got distracted by something shiny and accidentally hit the dislike button -.-

  • @paularoxs1 this song is from Please Please me

  • @paularoxs1 Please Please Me album

  • love this song

  • The 4 people that dislike this song are complete tosspots..

  • The Beatles are absolutely beyond comparison. The best music ever made.

  • And it's my mind

    And there's no time

Exhibit A for why The Boys should never have broken up.

Vocals equally shared, so you know they wrote this one eyeball to eyeball.

The only thing worse than The Boys breaking up (spring, 1970) was Muhammad Ali getting beat, March 8, 1971.

  • 4 people don't like this? I just don't understand how it's possible not to like the Beatles? I mean .. HOW?! Words can't describe the greatness of The Beatles!

  • @Fnuller92 lets just say they were traumatized by they're greatness and missed

  • @dansnuphith That's the only logical explanation :)

  • MORAISITO - the best

  • even a deaf person will love the beatles

  • The best of fab four

  • @maaanddeuta agree!

  • the best music of the world, la mejor musica del mundo

  • This is one of the most upbeat songs of the Beatles, that inspires optimism and good memories. It almost brings tears to my eyes for those wonderful years, during the early 60s.

  • @tuippe4 you find the beatles beautiful because you're NOT stupid...

  • @wrenqroblox me too, i want everyone dressed in nice colours too not horrible black

  • @OpalHadley yeah that may be true for you, but people. just because your colourful and joyful that doesnt make you similar to the beatles, you have to see both sides to understand... listen to Yer Blues by the beatles and tell me if its joyful haha

  • Maybe i'm stupid, but i can't understand people who love justin bieber, lady gaga etc. Beatles are so... beautiful!

  • I love The Beatles. How can you not love The Beatles, their song is just lovable:D

This band is the best band there is, there was, and ever will be!!:D

  • great song

  • the beatles will always and forever be the most reconizable band

  • 1 of my freinds said that beatles sucks thats 4 funerals in my life

  • mes petits fab'four dans leur jeunesse

mes petits amours Paul, John, George et Ringo...

Il y en a deux qui vous attendent "somewhere over the rainbow, somewhere in Pennylane, or in the Yellow submarine....Thank you guys

  • BEATLES FOREVER

  • An underrated master piece...

  • @TiagoAnisio

So true. And my favorite of all.

  • No Dubbing, no drop in when you screw up a note, no loyalty to Pete Best - just perform it live in the studio and etch it onto the vinyl.

    Music at its best.

  • My favourite album!!!! Love The Beatles

  • I like those first songs of the beatles that didnt become famous hits.

  • The inspiration for this brilliant song was the musical West Side Story. It was based on Tony's reflection on his beloved Maria.

    Sweet stuff, no?

  • love the beatles eversince i was 17, now i am 98. just kidding LOL!!!!! The Beatles 100%!!!!!!!!

  • I love this song----to get away from-all them whores pimps and people looking at me--iam a clean dude.

  • LOVE this song!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Great vocal considering John Lennon's cold and all recorded in one day.Love the fab four.

  • @delboy8000 I think it's George instead.I don't know,I'm just imagining how it could be.

  • Me encantan los Beatles desde q tenia 14 años...< Tengo 24 ahora y me siguen gustando. Q nunca mueran...

  • @Touristcl nunca van a morir

  • i love the beatles, my channel proves it. right now, my dad cuts my hair, but when im about 13, i can go to a barber to get it cut, and im gonna get it cut like the Beatles

  • Fantastic album - as close to a 'live' recording as makes no difference, especially this track and Twist and Shout. What a band! This sound was so radical in the early 60s - it eclipsed everything. Couldn't believe it when I first heard it back in 63 - and it still sounds fresh today. Get the remastered mono CDs - money well spent.

  • @DrRoberts66

The remastered CDs are in mono? I feel like that would kill a lot of the producing in the later albums.

  • @m8cct Remasters of all the albums up to the White Album but excluding Magical Mystery Tour - not an official album in the UK in the 60s - are available in mono and stereo. You should get both box sets. Sgt Pepper is much better in mono as are some tracks on the White Album, Helter Skelter for example.

  • @DrRoberts66

ah, I see, I've been meaning to listen to some of them. I'd imagine a lot of their songs sound better in mono, like most of the songs from their earlier album, but I have a hard time believing Sgt. Pepper is better in mono. I felt like the stereo sound contributed so much to that album, but I've never really heard it in mono much, I'll have to listen to it, thanks for the tip!

  • i love this album

  • With the bluesey, mouth organ, this record sounds good, because it sounds of the time, when it was, made.

  • This album is epic!!!!

I have it and listen to it all the time

  • This song was the flip side of Twist and Shout. Recorded on the Tollie record label.

  • best beatles song EVER!

  • Ifnimidi has all the songs in Standard midi format

  • there's a place where I can go when I feel low when I feel blue and it's to my beloved beatles :)

  • In terms of tight 2-3 person harmonies, I think The Hollies come real close to The Beatles. If the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame means anything, I'm glad to see The Hollies getting in - they deserve it.

  • As long as people have hearts Beatles will live.

  • @maaanddeuta That means few more years cus fcking Bieber turns people in heartless robots

  • @maaanddeuta

Unfortunately, there are an ever growing number of those who don't, sad really...

  • Such energetic vocals. Under-rated little song.

  • close harmonies seldom come better than this. Just amazing

  • Lets put it out here! - record an album in a day. No dubbing or room for messing up!

Leave the hardest song (vocally) till last (Twist n Shout) with a producer (George Martin) who thinks deep down you're a mediocre band.

Original songs were also a rarity and with Andy White on drums for the 'love me do' single.

Great band and producer - the rest as they say is history...
